Thanks. I never buy gadgets for my pistols, but this one has two. The 36 has some recoil, and the factory floor plate on the mag bites your pinky when you shoot it. Bought some Pearce+0 extenders and a Scherer Grip plug to turn it into a comfortable shooter. Haven't shot it since I added the gadgets, but I know it's gonna feel better. UPDATE: The gadgets fixed it. Nice shooter now.

That's my view. I don't want the interruption. I may even open carry. I just won't do it in places where I expect a scene. I avoid TV cameras too.

I've never viewed it as a cost issue. It works much better if you're willing to put up with a wet process. I may do it some day, but not to save money.

Yep. I used to view most of the classifieds, and now I don't see any. They're isolated now. The couple of deals I made on TGO were spur of the moment. Both were very fast too. I don't really care either way. Just making the observation that I was a participant, and now I'm not. I can see how it's better for active users.

Cheaper than Dirt is fast. There are great videos on the Apex site that will walk you through the installation. Removing the rear sight can be a real bear. I had to put my slide in a vise with padded jaws and beat it out with a hammer and brass punch. You have to remove it to install the USB, which is a big part of the improvement.
