  1. Quote: Lester appeared angry that the court had not been told about the money. "Does your client get to sit there like a potted palm and let you lead me down the primrose path?" he asked Zimmerman's lawyer. "That's the issue."

  3. Quickload doesn't do it.
  4. Cheatham if famous for that kind of crap.
  5. Yep. You need to go to Stones River next time. They control the idiots there
  6. The specs on the leupold site say it's a 30mm tube with a 90 MOA adjustment range. That's a lot. Your scope will handle a 20 MOA riser with no problem. Looks like you're going to need it too at 1000. I zero my long range rifle at 100. Doesn't matter, since it gets dialed in to whatever range I'm shooting.
  7. But, you've heard MUCH worse.
  8. That's what his attorney said. I watched the original bond hearing. The pitch was that he was flat broke (when he was really sitting on over 100 grand). It will be interesting to see the amount of the new bond. Lying to a judge is real stupid.
  9. The judge said why in the hearing. Zimmerman withheld information, and was dishonest with the judge. I don't blame the judge for spanking him.
  10. You have a design that really needs fine tuning, and you have companies trying to mass produce them. Mine went from a complete turd to something reliable. The difference came with hand tuning the gun. It's like saying steel guitars don't work. They're not junk, they're just harder to work than most instruments. You know what I'm talkin' about . I've heard horrible things. Lots of folks just can't figure them out.
  11. Don't tell 'em!
  12. I don't doubt his opinion. Mine was horrible out of the box. It took a top notch 1911 mechanic to get it running, and may still need a little tweak. Won't know until I get the round count up. My G36, which is the same basic form factor, is probably a more reliable design.
  13. Neither do Glocks, when Mr. Pincus touches them in their special place
  14. Mine works, almost as well as my crappy Glock. Needless to say, I don't need a knife. A .45 is a death ray.
  15. Well... if we haven't started a good food fight by now, it probably won't happen
  16. You were better off with the knife, since all you got is 9mm
  17. At least you're not shooting those 9mm sissy bullets
  18. Yep. We told the last guy that another one would be along in a few days, and here it is! Oh yeah... Glocks suck
  19. For a crank type, get an RCBS trim pro with the 3 way cutter head. You can add power to it later, or buy it that way. You also have the Gracey and Giraud power trimmers. That's all I know. I HATE trimming brass, especially when you have to go back and deburr it. I bought the RCBS power trimmer with the 3 way head. I think the favorite is the Giraud. None of them are cheap.
  20. Personal color laser printers are cheap now. You just need to do some research. We kicked all the inkjets out the door awhile back.
  21. I thought we solved this case in the first thread when it happened. Good guy, but stoopid for grabbing his gun. Unintentional suicide by cop.
  22. I got to shoot my 36 yesterday with the little grip improvement widgets (pearce +0 and scherer grip plug). Big improvement in shooting comfort, without really making the grip any bigger. Still trying to make it to the show. May be tomorrow before I get there. Replacing all the stepper motors in my Trailblazer instrument cluster. I was down to one working gauge.
  23. I have one of them in my unnused stock box. You'll see it when I have my big yard sale
  24. Girlfriend testimony from the inquest... "He (Officer William Mosher) immediately draws his weapon and tells him to get on the ground," she said, adding that Scott put his hands up with the intention of disarming. Sterner said she screamed at the officers that Scott was in the military and had a concealed weapons permit. She told them not to shoot, she said. Scott raised his shirt to reveal the gun and had grabbed it to put it on the ground when the officer fired his pistol, she said." Really stupid move. I think it would get you shot anywhere.
  25. I wouldn't touch that thing. If I was going to jump on that platform, I would insist on a free float barrel, and not one with a pencil profile.
