It IS a system when you're done. I have MOE and CTR on my light weight carbines, an ACS on my .458 SOCOM, and a PRS on my gun with the 24" bull barrel. You want the gun to have some balance.

That's where I was going with my question. If an inspection reveals that the life has been shortened, make the dealer pay for a factory refurb on the can.

I'll praise Tim because he made my cheap 1911 run like a sewing machine. I have taken the gun down for cleaning since he did the work. He's a true artist! Nobody else will touch my 1911's going forward as long as he has time to take them in.

At point blank range. I've seen them use a .270 bolt gun and a Mini 14 for real shots. BTW: All the pricing on American Guns is WAY over the top. I figure the folks paying are getting what they deserve.
