When it comes to crabby, you're not even in the top 10

You are well on your way to acheiving political correctness
  3. Yep. Not much to it. Just be sure to stake your castle nut. they don't cover that in most of the basic assembly videos
  4. At least they know how to work the X ray machine. What's with people trying to carry loaded pistols on a plane? How could you miss that small rule?
  5. Varies by state. CT requires fingerprinting. KY doesn't.
  6. The brownells videos are great. I don't think they show the box cutter trick for installing the front takedown pin, though. That's the one where you're most likely to launch the detent and spring across the room. I would go through several series of videos until you find that trick.
  7. ... even if they actually hit the target
  8. I agree. Think next door neighbors . Not everybody has the same brain. It's hard for a complete idiot to shoot himself with an LCP.
  9. I think the little pocket guns probably are safer. I wouldn't be afraid to finger twirl my LCP. I wouldn't try that with one of my Glocks or an M&P. They're heavy enough to mash the trigger. I'm not scared to carry any of my pistols. I just pay a little more attention to the big ones, because there are lots more ND's with them.

I would be willing to bet you have zero problems with the .40.
  11. Yep. I have one set of Lee .223 dies that live on a turret head, another set of Lees for the coax, and then another set of Reddings for making good ammo on the Coax. I don't use a powder drop on the single stage. I use my electric trickler.

    "Glock Haters"

Interesting video that doesn't concern me all that much. Gotta give credit to the HK. Note that the 5906 weighs 10oz more than the plastic guns. Also note that the Glocks didn't fail until a few rounds were gone from the mags. Revealing test, just not a deal breaker for me.
  13. There's one significant difference when you compare the P3AT/LCP to heavier guns like the M&P and Glock. It's much harder to pull the trigger on those little pocket guns. I don't think I've ever heard of an accidental discharge with an LCP because you have to be real deliberate to make it go bang. I use an extra layer of caution with my Glocks. I don't practice bad trigger discipline with any of them.
  14. Right now, the polls are pretty even in the BG states, with Obama leading in single digits (at least the polls I've seen). Lots of media blasting left to do, and Romney has quite a bit more money. It ain't over til it's over. Bumper stickers don't always mean a lot. I won't wear a Romney sticker because I'm afraid of vandalism. I would expect the opposite with an Obama sticker.
  15. ... and when did you become Erlene? I don't get out much anymore
  16. Uhhh... so we should vote for Basil? He likes guns. Maybe we should get over it. The NRA has.
  17. The people of that state wanted those crappy laws. They're a blue state. He signed legislation that was already passed. He might even do it again... except it won't pass. I don't see him driving gun bans.
  18. Didn't mean to make you sad Erika. I'm trying to say that it's a different deal. Doesn't matter what he did before. The people behind him are different now. THEY won't support that crap.
  19. ... and gun bans will keep you from getting elected, unless you're the governor of Mass.
  20. Just hope they don't shoot her out of one of the tubes. You don't want her all banged up. Of course, it would probably remove a lot of the body hair
  21. True enough. Doesn't mean he's always gonna jump in the same direction, like maybe into a fire.
  22. IMO, that's the one to have.
  23. Yep. I have forgotten about mine more than once. The first recall dealt with drop issues. I'm betting you can throw it against a concrete wall and it won't go off.
