  1. The owner needs a pitt bull... one of the mean ones.
  2. I hit it in the right spot. Having to go to a bigger hammer is what worried me. My brass hammer didn't have enough smack.
  3. This one caught my eye awhile back. Small package for a .45.
  4. I didn't have a problem with the DCAEK or RAM kits, except for removing the rear sight. Had to put the slide in a vice and beat it out with a brass punch. I didn't leave any marks, but had to hit it with a pretty uncomfortable amount of force. Don't know anything about the new one. Apex makes real good videos.
  5. Manual... http://stevespages.com/pdf/winchester_1895.pdf
  6. Here are some brief instructions. http://www.rarewinchesters.com/images/Exploded%20Views/1895%20Disassembly-Reassembly.shtml
  7. The 9 is a joy to shoot. Liked it slightly better than my G19 in shooting comfort.
  8. That's what I thought.
  9. Lester, I haven't read up on electric car batteries, but most rechargeables have a self discharge rate. So, you may not get back what you put into them if you use the charge over a long period. Dynamic braking is cool. Instead of turning the energy into heat with conventional braking, you convert it back to stored energy. When it comes to charging a car with solar, you have the capital outlay for the gear. Another detail that requires some pencil work. It works real well using Obamamath. Not sure how well it works if you remove his (perceived) unlimited supply of money.
  10. I figure there's just no way around it . If I had any M&P's right now, it would be on my short list. The DCAEK and RAM are great upgrades, but it sounds like this second generation trigger will take it to the next level. I have mucho faith in the Apex guys.
  11. S&W should have a big share of the LE market. They practically owned it for decades. No doubt that the M&P line fits that application real well. I think they were way too slow coming to the table. I've been a S&W guy for over 30 years. Right now, my preference between the two plastic offerings is Glock. Wasn't a scientific choice. Just wound up with 3 Glocks, and the M&P is gone. I would be happy with either one.
  12. There's another statistic. It only takes one to the chest. I've never been a cop, and haven't experienced the anxiety of traffic stops. I agree with you on permit holders. I know a bunch of them. They're the least likely folks to cause any problems. I've met my share of the rare cops that like to overstep. Pisses me off as much as the next guy. But, if a cop believes that taking control of all weapons is the best way to stay alive, I just can't fault him. When it comes to running serial numbers, I probably would too. I have a few guns that didn't pass through an FFL. I don't think any of them were stolen, but don't know that for sure.
  13. Yep. Shove enough rounds thru it, and the gun will fluff and buff itself.
  14. I betting you fixed it
  15. I have had similar weirdness on TGO. Turned out the browser was in compatibility mode. IE9
  16. The tards have big ego's, and think they are much smarter. Biden's obnoxious behavior fits them.
  17. I think I'm finally gonna shoot mine later today. Got no problem with AAC recommended twist shooting jacketed bullets. Nosler, Hornady, and gerber.
  18. I was gonna leave that one alone. I'll build you an AR if you buy the parts. All you gotta do is ask
  19. Are you saying you won't pick up Blackout brass? How about .458 SOCOM? I understand 223, unless it's top end stuff like Lapua.
  20. From Allen West... Just finished watching the Vice Presidential debate and my one question is, what does Joe Biden find so funny? These are serious times. Just consider the foreclosure situation, unemployment numbers, out-of-control spending and our national security/foreign policy posture. Joe Biden came across as a rude curmudgeon who... could not defend the failing policies of the Obama administration so he tried to smirk, shout and laugh his way through the debate. Joe Biden truly came across poorly and simply did not instill a sense of American leadership, and certainly not statesmanship. Congrats to my House colleague Rep. Paul Ryan, ya done good!
  21. #!
  22. Maybe a few. The dems have been painting Ryan as the devil. Anybody with a brain could see that he isn't. May not bump the polls, but it didn't hurt anything
  23. Yep. Draw
