This morning's email from the Obamunists. Like I said, I think they've (Romney) been holding their guns. I agree with that strategy. This week alone, the other side is expected to spend $57 million on TV advertising against us. It gets worse: We just learned that Mitt Romney and the Republicans started this month with a $34 million cash advantage. This election is already extremely close. And because we've never seen this level of overall spending in a presidential race -- especially right at the very end like this -- we don't know exactly what it could do. It can't be good. If we don't close the gap starting today, none of us should feel confident about how November 6th will play out.

Rush was able to do what he does because of the repeal of the Fairness Doctrine. He started the conservative talk at KFBK in Sacramento. Big talk station. If you get big ratings on a station like that, especially if you drive the ratings for the whole station, it's not that hard to get a syndication deal. The show would have never worked if they were required to provide equal time to Liberal spew. If the Fairness Doctrine hadn't been repealed, it's most likely that Rush would have never made it to the national scene.

Cheap house wiring wins bids. My dad and I did a several when I was a young pup (summer job). I completely understand putting the garage and two bathrooms on the same circuit if code allows. Nothing unsafe about it. Since codes require so many areas to be protected by GFCI, the most economical scheme wins over user friendliness. I have no problem with the way they wired my house. I'll admit, I cussed them the first time the GFCI tripped. Now I know.

That's driven by code. The ground fault outlet for my first floor bathrooms is in the garage. It has to be the first outlet on the circuit, so mine wound up in the garage because it was the least amount of wire. The bathrooms are on the same circuit as the garage.

Wouldn't be the first time that happened. You gonna let us know what he finds?

Rush, and the ones that came after him are there because they get HUGE ratings. That's why there are several. I agree that he's been a big force in conservative politics, but he's also been a huge money maker for the industry. Same deal with Beck.
