To be picky... L5AWM. Sitting here looking at both. I think the cheap ones may be OK, but I KNOW the AWM's are. I use them for .458 SOCOM.

The good ones are the "Advanced Warfighter". They have a no tilt follower that's as good as a PMAG. The metal feed lip assembly wraps around the top of the mag.

Be aware that there are two grades of Lancer mags (found out the hard way). The good ones are great.

Because Glocks and a few others just have well documented long term reliability. Nothing against XD. It just has lots of catching up to do because it's not used near as heavily as Glocks and some others. My guess is than an XD will hang in with the rest. Just can't prove it.

The AR-15 and similar has been used in several high profile mass killings. We need to seperate the zealots from the sane here. The zealots want to ban everything. I'm worried about the ones that will push for an AWB BECAUSE of the documented cases of its use, and leave other guns alone. A lot of these turds want to ban Glocks too. I'm not worried about them

Those A legislators were Democrats. I'm seeing NRA members and other gun owners supporting and AWB ban. THOSE people need to be reeled in. This is gonna be a big fight. We KNOW the house will stick with us IF they can. If a large majority of their constituents are for a ban, it's gonna be tough for them to go against it. Lots of PR to do. The libtards are way ahead of us.

It's not what we're willing to give up. It's what they're capable of taking. Let's give the NRA a chance to speak. The house members WILL bend to their constituents. We haven't quantified that. I'm sure the NRA is trying to do that now.

It may not matter what we're OK with. Rational thought doesn't matter. Reality doesn't matter. The strategy has been to not give an inch, and I've always agreed with that. That may STILL be the strategy, but I'll leave that up to the NRA and our friends in the house. If a critical mass of people want something in this country, they'll get it.   We don't know what the House members are hearing from their districts. One thing's for sure... political suicide doesn't pay. The NRA's standard position is to not give an inch. If they change that position, it will be because they can't win it. They're in close touch with congress... count on it.
