Sort of grandfathered. They will be moved to NFA status (registered). You will not be able to carry those weapons across a state line without prior approval. When you die, the gun goes to the government. From what I've read, it will include semi-auto pistols as well... anything that is capable of holding a "high capacity" magazine.   Real Hitler stuff.
