  1. I just remove the decapper and size them. Takes some of the dings out of the bodies.
  2. http://www.thompsontarget.com/pages/defensetargets.html
  3. I have a 19 Gen 4. Haven't checked the spring to see if it's the right one yet. I also have a 23 Gen 4. Gotta read the slide to tell them apart.
  4.   That's where I would have looked first
  5. I have an X Bolt Hunter in .243 and LOVE it. Best feature set out there. Mine was made in Japan, but I don't care.
  6.   My all time favorite S&W wheel gun.
  7. I'm guessing it will need a little heat. They made that gun for a lot of years (I have one... not my first). Bet a replacement hammer is pretty easy to find.
  8.   You need to get the sniper in the family to sling some reformed tire weights at them. :)
  9.   He's better than Wayne. I'm guessing his plate stays full with the folks in DC. He seems to really have his finger on that.
  10.   President of the NRA. WELL worth watching...   http://www.gunsamerica.com/blog/2nd-amendment-vs-bloomberg-obama/
  11.   Beer and chili. He only smells like he's dying :)
  12. I've been thru Guard checkpoints after a hurricane. They were there to protect property, since everybody had bugged out. they never bothered me, even after kurfew. I DID have to tell them what I was doing.
  13.  Yep. Breed unimportant as long as they're a good mouser. I had a mutt growing up (collie/shepherd) that would snatch them out of the ground and kill them in one chomp.
  14.   Gotta mix oxygen with it or it won't work. I've thought about a cutting torch.
  15.   Yep. Ted kinda had his own little Yeager moment. I'm a big fan, but they need another Heston.
  16.   I agree about Wayne. I get him, but they need another face for the ones that don't. Cox and Keene are fine.   I'm not talking about folks that can't afford to support the NRA. I'm talking about the ones that can, and choose not to for some reason.   I don't think we should give up the fight either. I think Obama and the grabbers miscalculated their poll numbers, and the real makup of the country. Obama has as much as said that. They thought they could seperate the AR-15 owners from the pack and violate their rights with the help of others. Instead, they have shown their hands to a bunch of people that didn't see though them before. When they shut down that big outdoor show in PA, it kinda proved that everybody was gonna stand together.
  17.   I doubt seriously that an emp would kill an iphone even in a plain old steel ammo can. They make RF gasket material. of course, it would take a gazillion dollars worth of lab gear to test it.
  18.   You beat me to it. Probably way to expensive for a mole problem in a normal yard. The fun factor would still be there.
  19. I always got more sitting and being real quiet. I always looked for a bunch of nests, and just hunted around them. It's been a LONG time.
  20.   All we have is the NRA, and they could stand to get a lot better. Even though that's all we have, some gun owners don't support them.   Obama already realizes the ban won't pass. He has stopped pushing it.
  21. Good find. Obama should be forced to memorize the lyrics.
  22.   1994, buddy. And now, those dumbasses are going for broke again. I don't think they'll win TN again until they stop going "full commie".
  23. I have a friend in LA that would fit right in with this bunch. I saw him a couple weeks ago, and we talked about all this crap. He keeps his cool guns in Arizona (AR, AK's). He won't leave LA because of his gig. I think the commie states are going to wind up pushing it until it breaks.
  24.   Enthusiasm is good, but it ain't the whole game. Besides, it's kinda hard to do as much damage to the Democrats as they're doing to themselves right now.
  25.   It's kinda laughable, 'cause gun owners in general, can't organize a decent pub crawl. But, most elections are won/lost by pretty small margins. Pissing off 10% of the voters is usually more than enough to do you in.   When is sooner or later? An AWB passed in .94, and isn't going to pass this time. Gun ownership is growing. I agree that liberalism is being pumped to our kids, but also realize that those ideals are going to have to prove themselves. They won't.    I'm not saying there won't be an all-out ban someday. Just saying that once they pass a universal background check law, it will prove itself to be as useless as the other gun control laws. We KNOW the goverrnment won't enforce it. It's what they do. Besides, the thug hatcheries aren't getting any smaller either.   Now, I'm going to the range with my cat lady friends. They have a new (to them) G19, and need to know how to shoot it. I'm gonna do what I can to keep the culture alive.
