  1. Yeah. My CPA's do a lot of musician stuff. That's why I picked them. They're used to dealing with idiots, like me :)
  2.   Single action to boot, since any gun that cocks itself is evil.
  3. He's a card carrying member of the Obamanation. Just regurgitating Obama's talking points. It's what they do. Hell with school safety or anything meaningful. Let's attack the 2nd instead.
  4.   Unfortunate fact
  5. He's a friggin' Democrat. I responded to his response. Can't believe he's quoting that 40% number. I told him that if they're gonna sit in a room and make laws, they should learn about the real issues.
  6.   Could be. Rule #1... they're gonna get their money. Forming a corporation and complying with the accounting practices is going to add costs, unless you're an accountant. Again, a good CPA could put these questions to rest in less than an hour. I have great CPA's, but they're in Nashville.
  7.   Turned a slug into 00 buck, eh?
  8. No state individual income tax in TN. Don't know about corp.
  9.   I figure it will when the political dumbassery extends to ammo regulation.
  10.   I know one person that's home schooling now. She's more than qualified to do it. I know another that's considering it, and she's had teaching credentials for years.I don't know the requirements for home schooling. I do know that everybody is not qualified.   BTW Smiffy, your son probably wouldn't have the terrorist problem if you would give up on those commie guns and get you some 'merican rifles :)
  11.   That's the way it worked in my day.
  12.   I woudn't doubt that. I'm an old fart, and way past having to worry about it. My point was, if you pull out of the system, THEY win, and we're still paying them for their crap.
  13. I would think a good CPA should be able to guide you through it. I spent some years on my own. My bet is that you're going to pile on more accounting hassles (and the associated CPA fees), and not save any money.
  14.   This is like anything else these days. They're OUR schools, and WE let them get away with it. Parents need to shove the idiots back into their places, even if they have to take their issue to the school board.   Home schooling is free spirited and all that. But, without teaching credientials or equivalent, you may be doing more harm than good.
  15.   Tried to gas him? Yep. Smoke inhalation. My money says they find a self inflicted bullet hole in his crispy head.
  16.   So, it accomplished nothing but making the TCA a little fatter. Sounds like these folks are ready to move to DC :)
  17. I gotta get me one of those :)
  18.   Ain't gonna happen
  19.   Sounds like several square miles :)
  20.   Yep. The greatest in the history of the US. I figure he'll keep that position as long as I'm alive
  21. The Browning/Winchester trigger in the X bolt is great as well. I gave my stock Rem 700 trigger away to a guy on TGO. Replaced it with a Jewell.
  22. I don't get it. Rat killin' accessory for your AR, so you don't have to waste good ammo?
  23. Collet die is a neck sizer, so your tension is gonna be uniform. The crimp normalizes the shot start pressure, which almost always makes accuracy better. I don't neck size (only) anything that I'm gonna run thru an AR. It gets a full length size just to make sure the shoulder and everything else is in the right place. On the gun I measured, the shoulder (and head space) moves 4-6 thousanths every time you fire a round. My Lee dies put the shoulder 2 thousanths inside of zero spec. My Redding die is set up for the same amount. The only way I feel confident about uniform headspace in an AR is to full length size my brass every time.   Doesn't matter in a bolt gun. The headspace will always be long, and you force it into compliance with the bolt.
  24. I must be old fashioned. I'll know that I have good neck tension when it goes thru a sizing die, especially with brass that's had a bullet pulled. Then, I'm gonna crimp on top of that. I'm not gonna load hundreds of rounds and not know. If I was shooting them in a bolt gun, it wouldn't matter. I'm not.
