  1.   I think that happened a few years ago when they started the nut grabbin'. I'm guessing Vegas has a pretty good TSA crew. They never gave me any crap. It's real easy to grab the wrong nuts in that airport... as easy as Nashville.
  2.   West? Flip your map over :)
  3.   Here ya go...   http://www.pennandteller.com/03/coolstuff/penniphile/roadpennfederalvip.html
  4.   Hard core libertarians. Google Penn's exploits with the TSA.
  5.   Not talking about all of them. I'm talking more about the ones that voted because they thought guns wouldn't be an issue. You're talking about liberal cancer, and CO has plenty of that.
  6.   Now we're in full blown TGO speculation mode :). Magpul's products are real simple (compared to a gun). Add the fact that they make a whole lot of units for each product. Because of the high unit count, they probably have multiple lines running. They can probably move one line at a time. You can't really compare them to somebody that makes a totally different product.   I'm guessing they already ran the numbers and rough logistics on a move. Crawfishing on their statement would be a lot worse than not making the statement at all.
  7.   I don't think they do know. Most folks vote based on other issues. I'm sure a lot of them are waking up now, since there's an all out war on guns.
  8.   Magpul is waiting on the official count. This also has to pass the Senate, right? I know these are technicalities, but it's not a done deal yet. If I was Magpul, I wouldn't make any hard moves until it was signed into law. Once it is, I don't blame them one bit for moving.
  9. The house vote is Monday. Magpul has been very clear on how they will react. If CO bans their products, they will move. The manufacturing exemption has been there.   If they choose to move, I'm sure one of the better states, like Texas will do everything they can to soften the blow. IMO, it they take Colorado's deal, it could easily kill them in the gun business. I think they're too smart to allow that.
  10. Cookeville is a little town, and it's a drive to any big town. I wouldn't rule out the Nashville area. You can live "out" of the big city crap, but can still get to it if you need to. Lots of retail and medical.   I've lived in real small towns, major cities, and everything in between. Nashville is about right for me. Lot's better than Memphis in a lot of ways, but you won't miss out on the good things that Memphis has to offer.
  11. I pulled my pants back up. Shot a hole in the floor when I was trying to Mexican carry my 9. I ain't cut out for this shit :)
  12. Not sure, but my pants be saggin' now :)
  13. This is good! I'm not surprised. Larry really is one of us.
  14. I shot those Black Hills loads against my hand loads at 600 yards. My hand loads were also loaded with 77 SMK's, trickled powder charges, and benchrest primers. I couldn't tell any difference on the target. Some of the best off-the-rack ammo you can get.
  15.   Black Hills is quality stuff. It's not for AR blasting. I've paid close to a buck per round in normal times. I didn't follow the link, but am betting that they're loaded with 77 grain Sierra Matchkings. I shoot a lot of those in my 8 twist gun.
  16. Black Hills comes in 50 round boxes.
  17.   As I recall, Black Hills usually is. GREAT stuff though. Doesn't need to be lumped in with Walmart fare.   Once again... guilty of responding before I read the whole thread. $1+ per round is OK. $2.50 per round, hell no.
  18.   We assumed that they weren't quite dead yet. Isn't it against the law to poop on a dead guy?
  19. DO NOT poop on somebody after you shoot them! As you probably already know, "he was a good boy". Pooping on a good boy after you have done snuffed the life out of him is just over the top :)
  20.   You get an A+ in this class. Unfortunately, we can't mention it. Excellence is politically incorrect. :)
  21. If the big corporations don't stand with us, their market will shrink to just law enforcement. They better ALL wake up and join the party, especially since King Peanut Head is gonna end all war. The gun manufacturers have a dim future without us. The war on guns is a war on guns.
  22. They've lost a lot of support, and it's kinda turned them into wobbly legged bitches. They need to get their social agenda together. If they focus on the back of our pants (wallets) instead of the front (fun parts), they may not chase as many folks to the other side.
  23. They should put their money in green energy
  24.   We could just launch him into its path
  25.   That's a whole lotta Democrats :)
