  As Smith said, they don't need that evidence. He's full of bullet holes from their returned fire. They need intel.

(CNN) -- Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the surviving suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings, may be charged at his hospital bedside Sunday, a Department of Justice official told CNN. Because Tsarnaev is still in serious condition, a judge would likely come to the hospital to charge him, a law enforcement source said, noting that suspects accused of federal crimes are normally presented charges within 48 hours of arrest. An arraignment would take place later. Tsarnaev, 19, is currently unable to speak and is under heavy guard.

  He has a throat injury. I'm not sure he has said a word yet. Some of our LEOs have addressed Miranda in other threads.   BTW... they may charge him today, while he's still in the hospital.

I don't think they're breaking any laws. We'll see, once there are some facts to back up all the speculation.

If somebody bombs a crowd of innocents, I hope they nail their balls to a bench, and beat the hell out of them with a rubber hose. I'm also not going to wander into a combat zone to press my "rights" either. These were unnusual circumstances, with a swift and positive outcome. Can we wait until they actually do something that demonstrates a "slippery slope"?

I'm not sure how I feel about this, since those two could have easily been part of a much larger cell. Until they know that those two acted alone, the threat is still real. The attack WAS against the general public. If combat breaks out in the streets (which it did), they need to lock the place down.

I have a friend in LA that owns a lot of guns. He just keeps his in Arizona. California has been over the top for years. This is a pretty old pic, but is still one of the best examples of their stupidity...

  I disagree. I'm thrilled that it all went to a vote. If it had not, we wouldn't have seen the serious thrashing of the AWB and magazine bans. They may eventually get enough support for expanded background checks, but bans are just out of reach. If you recall our panic when this started, it was about bans. We're pretty safe from that now, and it's on record.

One more thing... I've never seen a Geissele trigger discounted. So, you normally get the same price directly from Geissele, and they throw in some swag (at least they used to). I haven't bought one since the Obamalypse started. May have to hunt around.

  Not just one compenent. It's the trigger, hammer, disconnector, springs, and pins. To me, the fire control group is a big component. It's the human interface to the business end of the rifle. The tighter tolerances make them more expensive. The results... they just drop in with no adjustments, and run forever.

  I took a bite of it once. Damn near killed me. Some friends had bought it as a joke. I was at my girlfriend's (at the time) house. She tossed in into the trash, and we took off. While we were gone, her pit bull drug it out of the trash and ate it. What a mess! The chicken went thru the dog, and exited at extremely high pressure. It would have been something to see.

May not matter. Habib was pretty banged up when they shoved him in the ambulance. They've been flashing a picture on Fox.

Like I said elsewhere, they may not need to do anything special to get what they need. I would be OK if he died too. Sure would be nice to know if there was a network behind them, and how they got their funding.
