  1.   High profile race baiting lawyer. New clothes for going on TV. LOTS of expenses for those "poor" folks.
  2.   I'm guessing his stock is dirt cheap or free.
  3.   Is it too late to get a refund? :)
  4. LMT definitely makes their own, and is in the business of private labeling for others.
  5. Almost makes you think about going to somebody like LMT.
  6. The gas pulse starts when the bullet passes the gas port, and ends when it leaves the muzzle. The gas pressure also drops as the bullet moves down the barrel. For a given barrel length, midlength gas will have less pressure and a shorter pulse.
  7. They probably did you a favor.
  8.   This ain't about Zman. Zman wasn't presented to the entire nation as Barack Obama's son.
  9.   Me too. Again, I wouldn't expect anything less from the guys that are putting this together.
  10. Careful. You could put an eye out with one of those :)
  11.   In a vacuum. When a thug gets shot, somebody, somewhere, always says, "he was a good boy". Based on all we have seen about Trayvon, outside of Crump's marketing campaign, is that he was an aspiring thug. It has some significance in the case because of all the original misleading media crap.   Sure, he could have been buying iced tea (actually, it wasn't) and skittles for a nice evening at home. Let's don't ignore the fact that an evening with the Cleavers didn't quite fit his character.
  12. The patent for the 520 was granted in 1905. I don't recall when it hit the market. It may have been Stevens by then. I would have to dig thru my stuff to refresh my memory.
  13.   Yep. They're nothing more than a franchise. Their signs look pretty good.
  14.   Looks pretty long here...   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0C-xqnIjMU
  15. Duh. I read that wrong. First I've heard of the 600. Looks kinda like the Q36. I wish the blade wasn't over 4"
  16.   We still don't know who made contact with who. Zimmerman didn't indicate in the tapes that he wanted to make contact at all. Every indication is that he wanted the police to make contact, if he didn't manage to slip away as usual.
  17.   More like completely subjective
  18. I'm convinced that y'all just like to argue :)
  19. Yep. 520. I have one. That one is in real good shape.
  20.   None of that adds up to murder. Even the folks, like me, that don't think he committed murder, won't accuse Zimmerman of being the sharpest knife in the drawer.   If ANY of us go investigating a bump in the night, we're not going to leave our pistols behind.
  21.   I looked at the Pardner Pump when I bought my 870. The action was a little smoother. I bought the 870 because I didn't mind spending the extra 100 bucks, and figured Remington would be around as long as I needed them. Then, I replaced the furniture with Hogue to get rid of their extra crappy recoil pad. Fun gun to shoot.
  22.   Yep. I hated her dollar, BTW
  23.   I think most of us are. I don't own any pointy hoods :).
  24.   Maybe he tried that a number of times in the past, and got poor results. This whole thing didn't happen in a vacuum. It was a neighborhood that had been plagued by break-ins. If we take away all our biases and deal with what is really documented for a minute, we may get closer to the truth. Zimmerman's comment, "they always get away" is significant. If I was in his shoes, I wouldn't confront the suspicious person, but I may not let them out of my sight either. I have just always assumed that he was doing that, and will continue until I see proof of something else.
