  1.   Right. Not really glad he's dead, but real glad that he's gone.
  2.   I hear you Robert, but he was the enemy. I didn't start the war on guns, and certainly won't grieve when their ranks are thinned.
  3. I just read Randy's dissertation. That's kinda depressing.
  4. Good score. You gotta get a supressor for it.
  5.   Good thing ZT does a helluva job with their knockoffs. :)
  6.   Back when the internals were hand made by little Austrian women. Those were the days :)
  7.   Bah. You can borrow one of Leroy's pocket knives, and lop them finger divots right off :)
  8.   I'm fine with a standard angle. The BCM grip came to mind first. It's a good 'un, and you can get it with or without the beaver tail.   http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-GUN-FIGHTER-s-Grip-GFG-Mod-1-Black-p/bcm-gfg-mod-1-black.htm   http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-GUN-FIGHTER-s-Grip-GFG-Mod-0-Black-p/bcm-gfg-mod-0-black.htm
  9.   No kidding. Tell us something we don't already know :)
  10.   I don't think they're interested in charging criminals. They're interested in turning US into criminals.
  11.   I'm with you on the Kershaws. Gotta have a Spyderco or two as well. So far, the Militaries have caught my eye over all the rest. Leroy has me pegged. I'll probably get the 4" blade :). One of these days, we're gonna get together and chop up a truckload of taters. :)
  12. Wicked sharp is my next goal. I'm gonna stop buying knives until I can get an Apex sharpening system in my hands.
  13. That thing has a hole in it! :). I haven't warmed up to the Spyderco knives yet. When I do, it will probably be one of the military models.
  14.   You shouldn't. But, if I ever have the problem, and Apex offers a solution, I'll go with it in a heartbeat. They know what they're doing. Their extensive upgrades to the M&P make it a better gun. It's a hotrod kit, but a very effective one.   So, if Glock tells me to chase down an armorer, that's what I'll do. The Apex guys are on my list of "best pistol guys". I know that they can look at a problem, engineer a solution, and ship it to me.
  15. Mine was a nickel Model 15 S&W with a 4" barrel. Sold it back in the late '70's. I have kicked myself hundreds of times since.
  16. It just takes a nudge or two
  17.   He can't afford any spare mags after he bought the CR :)
  18.   I think it would work extremely well. It's just illegal. :)
  19.   You nailed it, Grasshopper :)
  20.   I learned it from TGO David.
  21. OK, here's the deal... I did the grease trick, and it didn;t do much. Then, I started making small adjustments to the pivot tension, while checking side-to-side blade play. It may have taken as much as 1/4 turn to get it where I feel it was "right". At this point, it works like a flipper should. If you point the knife strait down and break the detent. the blade's weight will push it to lock up. No blade play, and it always deploys with a little wrist action. It's not quite as easy as the 560, but still completely reliable.   I've been sitting here going between the 200, 300, and 561. The 200 is my favorite, and it's not even close. That may change when I try to carry it. That warm and fuzzy handle is gonna make a lump in the pocket. With that said, it's the best one-handed manipulation of any of my ZT knives, including the 561.   Thanks Leroy!
  22.   My bet is that he'll have an accident in his pants when he unboxes the Yuna, and you'll have to fight him for it after that :)
