  It wasn't JUST race baiters. Our gun hating media gave it an extra special boost as well. I watched this crap when it first hit Facebook. ALL of the gun haters wanted to fry Z with no evidence. Had nothing to do with race or skittles.

  I think it's safe to say that you'll have to change clothes when you're done. Same rules as with a gun... you're not gonna stop them dead in their tracks unless you defeat the central nervous system. So, lots of blood is required. You can get to the vitals by going between the ribs, and assume it just takes multiple attempts to get there.   I'm with you. A gun is much better. With that said, if all I have is a knife, I'll do my best to drain the guy that's trying to kill me.

I saw your review from way back. Good luck finding any new Hinderer scales now. If the Kryptoglow scale looks ok when I get it, I will probably use it. I'll replace it with a Hinderer in a heartbeat if I ever find one in the right color.    I LOVE this knife. Once I managed to wear a little hair off the detent, it deploys as fast or faster than my 561 with just a flick of the thumb stud. The lock bar has less tension than the Gen 1.

  The only reason to use a lighter bullet is to increase velocity. Helps with varmints. Probably useless in a carbine.

  It's THE most important thing. I just don't think there's anything to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt. Never have. The whole thing is a sales job at this point.   The first prosecutor got it right. It's anything but a solid case for the prosecution.

  55's, which are the most common, should be fine. The military went to 1:7 to stabilize tracers. I don't own any 1:7 barrels, but wouldn't shy away from them either. It wouldn't change my life any, because I never shoot anything below 55 grains.
