  1. You sound exactly like me, until I got my .458 SOCOM. $3 per round was my breaking point. So, I completely understand. If you ever do get there, you will be glad you did.
  2. You're the one that talked me into it. Ran 1000 after I got mine.
  3. No me. I'm a fan of the Giraud annealer. Not necessary for 300, because the neck winds up being part of the case that isn't really work hardened.
  4. 300 blackout is one of the best calibers to reload. Most of my brass was 5.56 Lake City that was already primed. Cut it with a little Harbor Freight chop saw, full length size it, and then trim/deburr. https://www.amazon.com/Hercules-Benchtop-Cut-Off-Miter-Crafts/dp/B077G8ZKX3/ref=asc_df_B077G8ZKX3/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=242132388719&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=14710119984010048888&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9013074&hvtargid=pla-571999342446&psc=1 https://www.zepreloading.com/store/p3/300_AAC_Blackout_case_cutting_jig_.html
  5. And then there's this. Reporting standards change. I didn't bother to pick this apart. It's all so politicized that I can't trust any of the data. https://www.wsmv.com/news/tn-department-of-health-changes-how-it-reports-covid-19-cases-deaths/article_7ae95322-ace7-11ea-b4e5-bbc59ef7595d.html
  6. The pro sights are GREAT. I only have one set of them. If I was the spendthrift I used to be, I would replace all of my plastic sights with those.
  7. Are you gonna throw a set of MBUS sights on it too?
  8. Yeah. If you are carrying it in a vehicle, and the sight has to be always ready, get an Aimpoint. Just leave it on and change batteries when you do your smoke detectors. The Holosun is awesome for home defense.
  9. I view it as an alternative to a taser. Even though both are non lethal, they both carry and look like guns. And, by the time you have justification to use them, you are probably justified in using deadly force as well. This is not for going against somebody that's armed. That's time for some lead. New product, same old arguments.
  10. True. I turn mine off in the truck. My gun is always in a takedown case anyway. That gun does home duty too. Sometimes you just can't beat an Aimpoint.
  11. One of my old bosses turned me on to it. I have a Kimber pepper blaster. This thing smokes that.
  12. If that Holosun is like the Sig Romeo5 (made by Holosun), you will like the shake awake feature. I have one on my truck/HD rifle. The dot is always lit when I pick it up.
  13. I don't know if this has been brought up on TGO yet. The Byrna CO2 powered pepper ball gun looks like a great solution. I will probably order one up soon. They sell pepper only, and pepper/mace ammo. Just discovered it a couple of weeks ago... https://byrna.com/
  14. Seems to me that if you own the camera, it can't do anything more than you want it to do. If it has something helpful, use it. If it doesn't, give it the Hillary treatment.
  15. That's the thing. Everything is so damn politicized, I don't trust ANY of the data completely. There are incentives to cook damn near every number.
  16. After we talked yesterday, I took a closer look at the IHME data. TN is projected to have a big rise in deaths, but ZIP in New York! At least until now, nobody could kill a Covid patient like Andrew Cuomo. How comes they are totally out of the woods?
  17. Don't know. It's IHME data, and from their site. Here's an updated one...
  18. Lower Broadway too
  19. I'm not a smart man, but... https://pjmedia.com/lifestyle/jennifer-rubin-on-msnbc-more-republicans-than-democrats-will-die-of-covid-19-because-fox-news-isnt-scaring-the-hell-of-them/
  20. This is where I am. This will most likely be a small event if the healthcare systems don't overload. Now, if I can just find some groceries
  21. I just did the same. Had boxes show up from all over today
