  1.   Expensive test :)
  2.   GGC is great. I should go there one day :)
  3.   $100k is small money when you're talking about something like this. I wouldn't even want to guess on insurance costs. Just maintaining that size piece of property and buildings will chew a good sized hole in the profits. Stones River is $100 or so. I would pay the $150 for this range without batting an eye.
  4.   I'm thinking the spread will muddy the test. .224 SMK's are cheap. I would run the tracking test with a tack driver, and make spread a different test. If you're getting a 1+ MOA spread on that PMC stuff, you're gonna have to do a lot of averaging.
  5.   Good answer. When I was looking into it, an unnamed TGO'er told me that he did a roll-your-own trust, then said if he had it to do over, he would have used a lawyer. It's more money, but you can do it via mail.
  6.   You gonna stick it on an AR for the test? My money says the tracking is fine.
  7.   My Spydies all came pretty sharp. I'm going to toss them on the Edge Pro and kick them up a notch or two. You won't be sorry. The Endura is a pretty big knife. It's just a hair shorter than the Military. Not as heavy.
  8.   They get even more fragile as the filament burns its way through its useful life. Bright LED's are the best thing that ever happened to flashlights.
  9.   I think one of the real problems is that you have Sharpton, Jackson, the NAACP, etc. struggling to stay relevant, and the black community still viewing them as leaders. Then, you have King Barry and his crew playing it for political reasons. The "hate crime" laws need to be applied fairly or repealed. That won't happen until somebody takes up the cause and pushes it real hard.   As with all Obama politics, lots of useful idiots helping him make things worse.
  10.   You're hired! Save the wood chipper for the media :)
  11.   Speaking of wood chippers...
  12.   You just gave me a good visual. Balls first. May have to break a few things to get them in the chute.
  13. They have bullets. I may try to order some up
  14. You guys are gonna keep this thread going until I join another range :). Oh well
  15.   This is wrong. Follow the OP's link. There's a slot in the rail for the front sight post. It's designed for carbine gas with an A2 gas block.   BTW, I built an upper last night just the way you're talking about. Carbine gas, lo pro gas block under a middy free float.
  16.   DD rails are extremely light. I have two. A carbine rail weighs about the same as a stack handguard. One of the reasons they're expensive. If we manage to shoot this weekend, I'll show you my blackout with the midlength Lite rail. By all means, use as DD rail if you can afford it.
  17.   Hang on there. They don't have enough bars to hold all the crooked politicians in Illinios. They're still running the state... promise :)
  18.   Cool! You have a place for that TLR. Get you a surefire for your Glocks :)
  19.   Good thing about TGO. Sooner or later, somebody will come along and give you the answer you wanna hear.
  20.   A Streamlight? I don't recall hearing of any big problems with them. Hell, Erik is ready to scratch my eyes out for dissin' his
  21.   Do you read threads before you post? I said early on that Streamlights were rumored to be OK. I just couldn't pass up an opportunity to give you ####. It's a character flaw :)   And BTW... trade your Glocks in on some Bersas. They're just as good :)
  22. Every time you put up a pic, I feel SO inadequate :)
  23.   The Streamlights really are supposed to be OK. I don't own any, but know several folks that do.
  24. I get that some with Nosler Ballistic tips in .223 and .300 Blackout. The cases are prepped the same as all my others others.
  25.   Yep. "If you're Voldemort, we taking your knife AND your gun" :)
