Brent, You should have good luck picking up all of the full power Nashville stations. Terrain is real favorable unless you're behind some big hill locally. You may need an outside antenna, but shouldn't need a rotor. As far out as you are, point it at the Bat Building and it will get everything. Here's WKRN's service contour. You're well within it. WTVF and WSMV are going to be real similar.

  That much free weed could have somebody hunting for it. Unlike us, drug dealers are allowed to carry full auto weapons, too. Who sez they didn't keep a big chunk before they turned it in?

The only problem I've heard about is the straight mag well in the AR causing feed problems. That round needs a pretty good curve to feed properly. I don't see why you would have light strikes if the bolt locks up. The hammer in an AR will give it a good enough whack.

  I always keep a couple of jars of Cocke County's finest. I'm not a fan, just always have some.

  May not catch it without a chamber gauge. I started out with one. I'm kinda picky that way. I'm one of those guys that started loading rifle stuff before I ever got into pistol loads.

  I use 5 grains of Bulleye for 230gr FMJ's. 

  45 is funky for me. If I seat a bullet that's a little cocked, it sticks in the chamber gauge, even after it's been thru the crimp die.. That's why I check all of them. My loads work consistently in all 3 of my 45's, but I check all my rounds.

Just used the link so you can see the gazillion 5 star reviews. I assume you're not using one now. The die has a carbide sizing ring that really helps sometimes.   Then, use the chamber checker to test your finished rounds. Every once in awhile, I'll have one that's sticky. I set them aside to be shot seperately. I'll usually give them another pass thru the crimp die and check them again. That fixes some

  Yep. Don't have any .223 middies with an A2 sight. I had a stripped lower anyway, so you know how that goes. :) At least A2's are relatively cheap to build once you pop for the barrel.

I'll have it Monday. Until then, stock photo below. I figured, might as well get a knife that goes on a gun. :) Once I placed the order, I had to face the harsh reality that it won't fit on ANY of my AR's. So, I decided to build an A2 to go along with it. Problem solved! The rifle should be done sometime this week if the barrel shows up.

Now, if they just start doing it at Midway USA and BladeHQ, I may actually save some money :)   By the way... good post. OhShoot should get a double discount. He's older than Billy Graham.

Building an A2 AR. I have a parts kit ordered from DPMS, but who knows when it will show up. I figure the rifle will go together this week sometime. Send me a PM if you have the parts.
