  And, how is Lenny gonna come up with the cash for his end of this? I wouldn't be a bit surprised if the city stood their ground. He's not suing Eray. He's suing the City of Nashville. Their lawyers are already paid for, and I'm guessing, really tired of Lenny's shit.

I just like the weight of the DD rails, and the fact that they're an "oval" design (skinnier than they are tall). Haven't been on a hunt in a good while. I just built a rifle for a friend, and he used a Troy Bravo middy rail over an M4 profile carbine barrel. Real pretty gun. Just quite a bit heavier than my blackout with a middy DD Lite Rail. I didn't weigh the two uppers, but we both compared by feel. 

  I'm not. They're on to him, and don't view him as a typical gun owner. 

  I just can't agree. The guy just flat out threatened people in downtown Nashville, just so he could prove that he was abused, and get his payoff. So... let him prove it. HE is abusing the letter of the law. I'm not about to get pissed at the government for playing the same game in return. So, let's see who wins. It's Lenny's game. He brought it.

  I agree. He needs to stop this crap right now. Taking him into the back room and beating him with a rubber hose would accomplish the same thing. But, they can't do that anymore.

  Tapatalk ate your spelling, and my location, eh? :) I'm in Nashville. It's probably gonna take an AR guy. Real unforgiving operation. You gotta drill the front sight base and the barrel at the same time, and then ream the holes for the taper pins. I may holler if I can't find somebody closer.

Update. Found a stripped A2 barrel at BCM, Better barrel, supposed to be in stock. Just gotta find a smith that can install the front sight base. Unlike most custom knives, you can fire their ass if they get slow. :)

6-8 month lead time on the barrel assembly. Damn custom knives! :)

  UHF doesn't like going thru obstructions. The higher the frequency, the more it acts like light. That's why directional antennas work better. Helps minimize reflected signals. Lower frequencies (VHF) have better penetration. I didn't think any of the TV stations were broadcasting on their legacy VHF channels. Not that I've been paying attention.

Most VHF and UHF coverage prediction models use heavy averaging, and aren't much good when you have big terrain features. Point to point prediction models like Longley Rice are pretty accurate, but it's easier to just stick up an antenna and see. I'm pretty sure that somewhere close to you, there really is no coverage :)

  ALL Broadcast HDTV is compressed (MPEG). It's true that the cable companies compress it more, and over the air quality is better.
