  1. We're past that now...
  2. Yeah. Every time I think I have seen the best one, somebody tops it.
  3. In both directions when it's all over. Coming and going.
  4. Nothing wrong with Lee presses and dies. I have a broad range of brands, and still use lots of Lee. Another vote for "The ABC's of Reloading". That's the Bible.
  5. He deserves to lose his license as a bare minimum.
  6. Yep. My paper is packed away. I just moved
  7. Yeah. They named it right. Our friend Kahrman recently killed an elk at long range. I figure he posted it here too. He used an old school 300 Winmag. Hard to do better than that except for the recoil.
  8. 123 grain Lapua Scenar with 29+ grains of Accurate 2520. This Quickload screen shot is close...
  9. My brother shoots and reloads 6.5 Creedmoor, And I shoot and reload 6.5 Grendel. That's why it's a yawn to me. Short case and high BC is our regular stuff. My Grendel loads are supersonic past 1000 yards out of an AR15 mag. Maybe they are trying to put a little more lead into an animal.
  10. It's a 270 Winchester Short mag with a better bullet. Pretty big yawn.
  11. My 43 is pretty snappy. My G19 is much better for recoil, and probably about the size of the EZ.
  12. There were plenty of conspiracy theories. And there were two sides to everything that came out. And lots of folks took a side. The response hammered the economy. And yes, some folks could see a benefit to that. Others believed that the cost/benefit equation was out of whack. And some believed that it was all made up. Personally, I have always believed it was real, and have always believed it was exploited by some. But, to each his own. I guess it's ok to believe that some folks aren't going to get richer due to their own manipulation. Never seen that one before. The government slacked on the PPE stash long ago. But, that's easy to understand how if you have ever done budgets. Global pandemics of this size are rare. Available vaccines change everything. The presence of antibodies (for theraputics) changes everything too. I want this thing gone. EDIT: And BTW, I'm never one to give the government too much credit. It is a self serving beast.
  13. If shaking is your problem, I would wait for the desk. What you have planned looks good, but is a lot more work. I agree with Peej and Kahrman... french cleats rock.
  14. The mask thing is pretty simple to me. It's only complicated because it has been heavily politicized like most other things. A mask will trap the droplets that transport the virus. I wear one in public because it's the law around these parts. I'm convinced that they work in a lot of cases, but not all. The whole Covid 19 response has been a bunch of genuine care for the human race, and blind opportunism from politicians, health care folks, and folks in general. I'm going for the vaccine ASAP. My girlfriend has some auto immune stuff. Her doctor has recommended against the current vaccines for her. He's waiting on the third.
  15. That's a shame. Best gerbil story ever. I figured it was old enough that it was good for a rerun.
  16. Since this is a thread about health, this audio track will serve to caution you about gerbils in the butt...
  17. I'm thinking the Walmart parking lot is a good place.
  18. Except that it was an accident. They were going for a BP med that didn't have an impotence side effect. And during the trials... BOING.
  19. I made a couple bulk purchases when they were cheap cheap.
  20. Hey.
