It does. But, seems like if the ATF wanted a number to begin with, it's probably in their power to make one up. I don't think they want it defined. What would this have to do with our gun rights? Our rights are under attack by folks that don't know zip about the firearms industry.   I didn't read the whole thread.   I NEVER use a driver CD unless I just can't get online, and then, only so I can get online and find the freshest ones. A lot of companies release buggy stuff, and clean it up later. Windows is a good example.

The Pacific salt looks real close to the Endura. From what I've read, the blade steel isn't as good, but won't ever rust. If I was working on a shrimp boat, I would probably get the salt. Since I'm not, I got the Endura and the Delica, both with FFG blades.

I vote for the Endura with a full flat grind. I have one and it's a great knife. I like VG-10 steel too.

I've been handling both as we speak :)

  The OKC3 is a good replacement. It's a better overall package. You can sure see the KA-BAR roots in it, though. I know the KA-BAR was still popular with Marines. I'll buy one of the USMC versions for the collection. This one is gonna be a user.    The handle material is real close to the OKC3. I like the looks of the leather better.

The KA-BAR showed up. MUCH better blade finish than the Ontario knives. The edge is pretty decent too. It will lop Charlie's ears off, right out of the box :). Money well spent.
