Can't stop it. I support Cruz 200%, because it all needed to be said. Best we can hope for at this point is a delay. 

The technical reality... It can't be totally defunded anyway, because it uses lots of funny money. The only way to kill this demon is to regain the senate, keep the house, and repeal the whole damn thing.   With that said, Ted did an awesome thing. Until a real fix can come about, I'm just gonna relish in the fact that Obamacare may kill off some of the tit hangers.

  Not being sarcastic. Sure, Turtle Man and all the rest wanna keep their jobs more than anything else. With that said, I'm betting he cusses Democrats as much or more that we do.

Lester,   I think you may be giving Joe Trashcan too much credit for connecting the dots. You can bet they're polling the bejesus out of this specific issue right now. Those numbers are gonna drive it. 

I want it defunded as much as anybody. But, if the effort fails AND we lose a bunch of seats in 2014, it will just go down in history as picking the wrong battle. It ain't just about Obamacare. It's gonna come down to polling. If they don't have enough support, and it blows up in their faces, we're gonna be stuck with Obamacare AND an "Assault" weapons ban.   If the majority of US citizens want it defunded, it's easy. If they don't, we could all wind up on granola rations, and driving a friggin' Prius.

My dad had a problem with spurs. They wound up making custom inserts for his shoes. In his case, they recommended against surgery, even though they were causing him a lot of pain. I'm sure it's a case-by-case thing, though.

  I think if there was a way to total it up, DPMS probably makes and sells a lot more AR10's than anybody else. Going to the folks with the most experience isn't usually a bad idea.   I've never shot one, but did install a free float tube on one. I used a standard AR-15 barrel nut wrench. Lots of compatibility with the AR-15 where they could get away with it. That's a good thing if they don't have reliability/accuracy issues, or suffer from short component life. 

  Hard to tell, G. Obama is dishonest to the core. Would he do some play acting to gain political power? Doesn't matter so much to me. He's way past my line of firing for cause. His ego and incompetence kinda mask some of his other character flaws.
