  1. No roll pins in the lower, but there's still one in the upper for the forward assist. There's also the gas tube roll pin. The best way to put them in is with a roll pin starter punch and a roll pin punch. Both of those tools are worth their weight in gold.
  2.   OK
  3.   I used one to help Deuce install a free float on his AR-10. It held fine. That one was kind of an eye popper too, as I recall. I've always used the clam shell type. I may get one of the others, just because the clam shell tends to mar the finish a little.   OK... panic's over. Time to order some stuff :)   35 bucks at JSE surplus
  4.   Yeah, I knew that. Too wrapped up in my moment of panic to think :)
  5.   Is a frog's ass watertight? :)
  6. I built a couple of radio stations there years ago while I was living in Jackson. Wound up making some good friends in that town. That's how I became a member of the Elks Lodge.
  7.   Boy... that would suck. May have to use the takedown pin style.
  8.   Yep. I don't go to bars much either anymore. Point was, they sell whiskey on Sunday. Gimme 8 shots to go. :) Jackson is close... 12-15 miles from the middle of Henderson to a liquor store, I'm guessing.
  9.   A liberal can still get his ass whipped in Henderson :)
  10.   Defending a patent can be real challenging, and real expensive. The deep pockets usually win.
  11.   There used to be an Elks Lodge there. I was a member. Dirt cheap drinks, open 7 days a week. Jackson is a short haul from there, with lots of liquor stores
  12. It's a good day when a New York thug is shot by a Chicago thug.
  13. Maybe Jesse and him can become human shields for the childrens. I'll send flowers.
  14. I'm pretty sure you joined this forum just to make me drool :)
  15. Some versions of the Magpul CTR stock are on sale at BCM for 59 bucks
  16.   Ding! And, we have a winner
  17.   Like watching an Obama speech in person :)
  18.   I'm covered up in AR's right now. So, I only ordered one set the first time. Then, I ordered the second set at the last minute. It really was a good deal, and billet receivers will work for the next two. I just need a bigger safe now :)
  19. I'm thinking CMT gave us a really good price because they love TGO. Not sure they made a pile of money on this deal. WE, on the other hand, got the best price on billet receivers we're ever gonna see. That's why I ordered my limit.
  20.   Usually these things just run, especially from a vendor like Spikes. You can fix it with a new barrel and/or new receiver. But, sometimes it just pays to get the smart guys involved. I think you have one of them.
  21.   I'm not thinking Predator will charge you a lot. I'm just pretty sure they'll fix it. I'm sure Spike's will too, but a little less sure. You put a lot into that gun. Personally, I would take it to the guys that can make it live up to your expectations without any more suffering.   Call Gordon. He knows those guys, and can probably introduce you
  22.   Right. Bolt has lots of force, and the extension has sharp points. If it doesn't go into the chamber, it's gonna ruin the brass.
  23. Looks like m4 ramps in the receiver and the extension. Also looks like the right ramp might be grabbing some brass. You need a pro. I'm betting the receiver or extension is out of spec.
  24.   Spikes has their own heavy buffer, that's between an H and an H2. They're not gonna under gas one of their assembled uppers due to incompetence, at least. Obviously, there's a QC issue somewhere, but you can't grab the wrong gas block if there isn't one in the bin. This thing could be ugly enough that it needs a new barrel extension. You don't want bubba, even THIS bubba doing that work.
  25.   The only reason I ask... I've seen GI mags grab the round because of burrs on the feed lips. If it's doing it with PMAGs, it ain't a mag problem. The guys at Predator are great. They will eliminate your expletives :)
