  1. I'm thinking some folks aren't familiar with ghost peppers.
  2.   I have everything except receivers and barrel. I'll be ready to make ammo on Friday if I can find some powder. I have a long range scope and mount, but will most likely buy a new Vortex by the time the barrel shows up. There will be a 20 MOA riser under the scope from the jump. Looks like this thing will probably do ok at 1000 with about a 40 MOA come up.   Don't know much on barrels except that the Shilens are good.
  3. I'll give Devil's Cut a try. I'm a Beam fan anyway. Booker's is still my go to if I'm not trying to save money for weird caliber AR's :)
  4.   Yep. It cost them money as soon as I read it. I'm thinking I'm not the only one. I'll still buy their crap if I need to.
  5.   Doesn't need to be a tank, but it does need to hold up a mini gun without wobblin'.
  6.   I'm pretty sure that's a delrin plug. In other words, no forward assist.   http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=663058
  7.   I vote forehead. Maybe it will disrupt that invisible sign I've always had that attracts crazy women.
  8. That's a good thing. Fixin' to start loading another caliber, and nothing in my current pile is gonna work.
  9.   You know that a little strip of duct tape will fix that problem, right? :)
  10.   Not sure I would pick Dolomite for a shootout. Bad enough getting shot to begin with. Getting shot with melted tire weights coated in Harbor Freight powder coat just ain't the way a super warrior should die :)
  11. 900 bucks. Geez Louise...
  12.   Well... That was a TMF moment
  13.   I'm a fan of the BCM as well. In fact, not just their BCG. Again, since I won't be using the bolt, which is the real business end of things, I didn't figure it was that critical. I'm a fan of Spikes too. I have 3 or 4 of their lowers.
  14.   I missed the boat on the CMT BCG, mainly because my bolt is coming with my barrel. When it came down to it, I wound up not being able to find a stand alone M16 bolt carrier, and wound up with a Spike's BCG. Not all bad... I like me some spider logo showing thru the ejection port.
  15.   Where did he get the crack? I thought the government kept him safe from that. Must have bought it at a gun show
  16.   I have a few Shaw barrels. Nothing wrong there, especially if JP cuts the chamber. Haven't seen anything, just pretty familiar with Shaw.
  17.   At least SOMEBODY got the fashbacks they were promised
  18.   The "mine expanding" deal was about pot, LSD, and other hallucinogenic drugs, none of which are NEAR as harmful as Cocaine or meth.
  19.   Blown up, attacked by hornets, and lopped my thumb off speed skinning a deer. I give up
  20.   BTW... we may wanna do some load development at the Blake estate, if we can talk him into it. I still gotta hook up with him and get my excellent tripod. I guess we probably need to wait until somebody can get their hands on a barrel :)
  21.   I doubt it. Email CMT and ask. The Geissele comes with its own tight tolerance pins, so I gotta use them.
  22.   Go figure. A lot of my Midway orders go thru Knoxville. Either there or Memphis. Never straight here.
  23.   Yep. All Midway UPS shipments go through Earth City, MO (St. Louis) except Mail Innovations.
  24.   Sure Post may take longer in some places. My post office is right next to the airport. Pretty short haul from the UPS terminal.
