  1.   If you didn't purchase them already... you missed something
  2.   Yep. Gonna have to con caster out of some of those tire weights :)
  3. I would like to have a Ma Deuce right now, with one of those little round Obama stickers right on the receiver :)
  4.   Don't know how much pistols had to do with it. Mostly all the stuff flying out of those B17's. Of course, John had lots to do with that.
  5. I LOVE the 1911. Typical Browning. I have a couple. I just think the Austrian plastic maker dreamed up a better carry gun, with a whole lotta Johns help BTW.
  6. I have a Worksharp. It's a handy tool, but I won't use it on one of my good knives. It's hard to be real precise with it. It will put a good edge on something fast.
  7. Rahm or his brother? I wouldn't mind beating the hell out of Rahm just once.
  8.   Back then, they were convinced that big bore was the solution. They tried the 30ish caliber route first. Not saying they were wrong. Just saying that John was headed for a 9mm pistol under his own steam. The military changed that
  9.   John's vision was a 9mm. The military pushed him into the .45
  10. Exactly! You have 45ACP, and then those other calibers for girlie men
  11. The incident is the latest in a string of shootings in recent weeks, including at a New Jersey mall, Los Angeles airport, the Navy Yard in Washington, D.C., and Sparks Middle School in Sparks, Nevada.    Still has some spin. There's a string of shootings in Chicago every day, probably by folks wearing the same tatoos.
  12. It's interesting that the Grendel loads I'm working up have more energy at 1000 yards than the 3 popular pistol calibers have at the muzzle.
  13. I reload 45ACP, so the cost is out of the picture. They're still big and heavy, but that ain't all bad.
  14.   Woody killed a bunch of zombies with two 1911's and a buttload of mags. It can be done :)
  15.   I figured they would make things right if you ever got their attention. I'm betting that's the last problem you'll have with that gun
  16.   I watched a fellow TGO member do one. He's a big boy, but the rifle was shooting him, not the other way around. I'm an M1A fan, but the fun switch on the M14 was stoopid IMO.
  17. Ever seen anybody mag dump an M14 in full auto? It will push a big ole boy around the yard. Don't know if you need a 308 for a zed, since they've already started decomposing and all :)
  18. Serious moment... Look at the Tavor if you really want a scrapping rifle, and have that budget.
  19.   When are they gonna regulate stupid? It's a helluva lot more dangerous than a box of Tannerite.
  20.   You kinda started it :)
  21.   Yep. You gotta Loctite the screw. I'm not worried about JP. They're top notch. If there's a real problem, one that's not created by some bubba effect, they'll make it right.
  22.   On several counts :)
  23.   It was my fault. I wasn't trying to piss off my dear friend, even though he's pretty adorable when his drawers get in a twist :)
  24.   Did you skip your Geritol this morning? :)
