  1.   Don't be a sissy. I use 5.4 grains :)
  2. I carry these in my G36...   http://www.midwayusa.com/product/2900244906/winchester-supreme-elite-self-defense-ammunition-45-acp-230-grain-bonded-pdx1-jacketed-hollow-point
  3.   You need to send that thing back, Mav. You got one that should have never made it out of there.
  4. That's the problem. You can be as responsible as you want. You just can't cover everything, like them encountering a gun away from home. People demonize the NRA, who has taught more kids how to safely deal with guns than any group. The Eddie Eagle program is great.
  5.   Don't forget that Mayor Thimble Dick is trying to spread his rule coast to coast. If they're successful in NYC, there are more than enough libtards to help spread it around thru legislation and enforcement. They're just going for the weakest knees first. Those folks need to make a stand.
  6.   Nobody said a trigger lock is a bad idea. I did, in fact, survive without them. I didn't drink gasoline either. Different times, I guess. The point was, there's a responsibility on your part to teach, because you just can't put a lock on everything. Lots of potentially lethal stuff around.   FWIW, I lock up all my guns when most adults come around. :)
  7.   Well said. When I was a kid, the guns were in the closet. I knew better. Getting shot wasn't my biggest fear. :)
  8.  You know I have my fingers crossed. Holler if you need anything.
  9.   That's why I bought it. I have a Badger Latch on my other reach out AR
  10.   The Sinclair is better.
  11.   They don't say until they ship
  12.   Get the Sinclair. That's the one I have. I think they're worthwhile, but I'm pretty anal when I'm trying to load real accurate stuff. One of the tricks for low runout is to simply stick with Lapua brass   http://www.sinclairintl.com/reloading-equipment/measuring-tools/concentricity-gauges/sinclair-concentricity-gauge-prod37479.aspx   http://www.accurateshooter.com/technical-articles/reloading/how-to-load-more-concentric-ammo/
  13.   Do you normally get the medium? That's the one I bought for my current build
  14.   It's 6 bucks. About what it would cost to drive here and measure your chamber. I missed it that you were looking for one, or I would have just ordered 2. Just bear in mind that you ain't the only one looking. If somebody does a google search, they're likely to find my post with the link.
  15. If you're buying an assembled upper, I bet they'll work it out. No reason they can't grab one of the TGO uppers before they ship if you have already paid for it.
  16.   I got 20 rounds of it. 'bout all I can stand.
  17.   http://www.gunstop.com/Store/Reloading%20Accessories/Hornady%C2%AE-Mfg/HORA65G   Note that they have a minimum. Get you some bullets or something. I hope I'm not bragging over a backorder. I don't think they put it up there unless they have it. These are the guys that sold me my Forster press when nobody else in the US had one.
  18. I have been turning over every leaf trying to find a Grendel case for my Hornady OAL gauge. Everybody is out of stock, and quoting months for a backorder. Scored one today at my secret reloading place. Grabbed some more 123 gr Scenars while I was at it. Load development ain't gonna be super easy for this caliber.
  19.   I have more than one. I'm sure I'll upgrade a few of them if I ever pay off the one I'm building now. :)
  20. I just bought my first Gunfighter charging handle for my new money pit. Those things are worth it. Excellent hardware
  21.   You mean a CMT upper. You said CMMG in the first post. Might as well go that way. The lower doesn't require much. in the way of special tools, especially with the CMT lower.
  22. I reload 458. No liability to it, if you're the one that yanks the handle. Brass may be hard to find
  23.   My defense of Z during the Trayvon mess wasn't personal. I figured he was an idiot from the beginning. If he's guilty this time, let him fry. It helps that Obama hasn't declared him guilty this time.   Speaking of prison... That's where I would like to see Barry too. In a cell with a big old hairy, thick knuckled redneck that's as gay as Little Richard.
  24.   The jury, all of them, disagree with you on the manslaughter thing. They got their instructions from the judge. Not sayin' who needs to bone up on the law here, but their decision was final. Race baiters... Crump, Sharpton, Jackson, and the Big Eared Wonder.
  25.   Not from what I'm hearing. I have friends in that crowd. I just haven't talked directly to any of them yet. Just hearing their Facebook banter. The bar owner is a dickish kinda guy, from what I'm getting through my grapevine. I've been hoping the cops would come out with something. I think they're waiting for the medical examiner.
