  1.   I understand. There was some inside information :)
  2.   I was talking about high school graduating class. :) GuitaRx and I go back a ways.
  3. Well... our graduating class is leading the race :)
  4.   That's a new one on me. Leave it to Geissele to dream up something like that :) I'm thinking anything that uses the takedown pin holes will work too. I'm pretty fond of the Dpms because of the way it fits into the upper channel of the receiver.
  5.   You called it early on. I got mine at JSE surplus for 35 bucks. They're out of stock now. 45 bucks at Midway and Brownell's...   http://www.midwayusa.com/product/730930/dpms-upper-receiver-action-block-ar-15-delrin   http://www.brownells.com/gunsmith-tools-supplies/rifle-tools/bench-vise-blocks/ar-15-ar-style-308-upper-receiver-block-prod17094.aspx     BTW... I'm pretty sure Gordon has one.
  6. I just checked, and the clamshell type upper receiver vice block doesn't work on these receivers. The DPMS Delrin block works fine, even though it's a tight fit. WORKS... DOESN'T WORK...
  7.   More likely, a serious outbreak of civil disobedience. Don't go thinking that it's impossible to reach a tipping point. The kingdom doesn't have the resources to enforce their BS unless there is large scale compliance. A viral outbreak of disobedience would overwhelm them. Got nothing to do with shooting folks that may deserve it.
  8. Right. I put one in a little while ago. Put some blue loctite on the threads.
  9. These things are pretty sexy
  10.   I'm gonna get a picture of Smith surrounded by all those 'merican receivers, since he's so fond of those commie guns :)
  11.   I don't have it in me to wait. :) Heading up there in awhile.
  12.   Should be some uppers in there too. Confirmed by phone.
  13. The deal with an AR-15... there's only so much snort you can put behind a bullet without topping out the gun. Nothing wrong with any of the popular calibers. They're just limited. The Grendel will break a bolt if you're not careful. I have a .223 with a 24" bull and a high power scope. It plays pretty well at 600. It won't outshoot the Grendel at 600, especially if there's any wind.
  14. A supersonic Blackout round is the equivalent of the 7.62 x 39, except with better bullets. I think it's a great alternative caliber. It's the cheapest alternative caliber too. especially if you reload 5.56     The Grendel really is a whole nuther animal. It can be loaded as a good combat or hunting round, but shines at long range.
  15.   Not for me. Cuts into the ammo budget
  16. I hope she gets a permanent yeast infection... and some scabies.
  17.   Just don't sell your last one.
  18. Special, ain't she?
  19. That case is in stock at Midway right now...   http://www.midwayusa.com/product/280721
  20. My JP block is fine. It will probably need loctite, but it's not floppy.
  21.   Looks like the perfect solution for your build. I wish the JP blocks had some kind of detent system. You gotta glue them with loctite
  22.   All the gas blocks in the picture are adjustable. I bought a JP adjustable for my Grendel build
  23. I have some of their tricks. I like those guys
  24. JP is gonna have something to do with it. Nothin' wrong with that. You gonna use all their tricks?
