1.   Staking isn't permanent. And blue loctite isn't nearly as bad as red. There was at least one manufacturer using red out there. You had to torch the gun to remove the buffer tube. I used to be like you. I just figured out that the best way was the established way. The only reason to pull the tube is to change to a fixed stock, which removes all evidence of staking. Anyway, I finally figured that if I was gonna build AR's, I need to do it like an armorer.
2. I have one of those damn things. Hate it
3.   Magpul PRS. It's my second one.   https://www.primaryarms.com/Magpul-PRS-AR15-Sniper-Stk-Black-p/mag307blk.htm
4.   Two stage is the bomb on an AR. The 3G is a fast trigger, but not an accuracy one (outa Bill Geissele's mouth). What you're gonna have is a really kickass 3 gun rifle. I'm a big Geissele fan. I don't have any of the SD triggers, but have 2 SSA's, and SSA-E, and a High Speed Match. Best AR triggers you can buy IMO.   BTW: Bill also says it can be shot accurately with a learning curve, but its purpose is rapid fire
5.   That set screw is a great feature. I wish I had it on all my lowers. I have a couple of rifles that are loose. I had to beat my rear pin in with a Delrin punch on the TGO set. But, over time, those holes can loosen up. Anyway, it's there to compensate for tolerances. Lots of billet lowers have them.
6.   Is there anything wrong with the way you're supposed to build AR's? You're supposed to stake the castle nut. No wonder folks can't sell their "custom" builds.
7. don't know. I just know you have the best 3 gun trigger on the planet, and a gun that's set up to exploit it. I think the regs are pretty loose
8. This thing is set up to be a 3 gun killer. Hope you're gonna do some of that
9.   The crazier they are, the more fun they are. You just gotta know when to leave :)
10. He's not the sharpest spoon in the drawer. Still, he seems to do a good job of making our libtard brothers, media included, look like bigger idiots than him.
11.   Less mass flying around, less of the gun flying around. You can reduce the mass of the BCG and buffer, then tune it all with adjustable gas pressure. On top of that, he added a battlecomp. That thing is gonna stay on the target. With that trigger, it's set up for accurate rapid fire. Gonna be a helluva gun.
12. That's gonna be a really nice shooter
13. I've spent lots of time in Florida and Texas. The biggest difference is their shoes. Not sure one can out-redneck the other :)
14. He's a sneaky sumbitch. The Daves are never gonna get any justice :)
15. Awe shucks.    http://bearingarms.com/i-lold-gun-charges-against-george-zimmerman-dropped-media-hardest-hit/
16.   I thought so. I also read that you become a voting member after 5 consecutive years of membership. Not sure about that one. I understand the logic in that. We have enemies.
17. 842 and CFE223 aren't the same. You need pictures so you can visually identify pressure signs. The flat primer at the end of the video is a sign that you have gone too far. Here's a good start...
18.   You got 3 life members in your house? Rachel Maddow would HATE you guys :)
19. I read that earlier today. Piss on that guy. When is the election?
20. Chips got better. Fortunately, I've been paid real money to design compressors. No need for look ahead digital. You can do it with a feed forward analog topology, and some instantaneous limiting. I even have a development board that I designed for the last big project. I can lash up a prototype in about an hour. I just need the wav files. There may be some out there
21.   His original response was "What?". I got it. I figure most folks would too.
22. Waiting on a barrel...
23. Obviously, stage monitoring is LOTS more complex. I've always worried that shooting muffs just weren't fast enough. I've never dug into a set to see what they're doing. My guess is that it's pretty cheesy. I have all the gear to test stuff like that. I just never have done it.   I know the timing on the Caldwells sucks. They may not even be the worst. The starting point would be to record good, undistorted wave files of a good range of center fire rifle shots.
24.   Maybe I'll just design my own compressor for the Caldwells. More than one way to skin a cat.
