  1.   FTFY   So... is it an infraction to pretend to edit your post when I really didn't? :)
  2.   I don't know any anti-gay gays. I know plenty of anti Obama ones though.
  3.   Welcome to TGO!
  4.   What are you sayin'?
  5.   They don't present them as yours when they make it clear that it has been edited. That's what "fixed that for you" means. You are the only guy I know that gets in a twist over that. I haven't done it to you since you let your preference be known. It's just a common practice.   Now, about that smurf thing... It can be treated :)
  6.   That's kinda like saying, "I went to school with a black guy". I know enough homos to redecorate Caesar's Palace. They're just regular folks to me. Even took one to Stones River one day. He shot a couple of my .45's and at least one of my AR's... no flinchin' :)
  7.   This may be the first time that smurf balls have come up in a TGO gay thread. Expanding our horizons!!!
  8.   You don't have to be Elvis to have a circle of fame. If he's going to have a public life, and generate income from it, he needs to manage his public image. It doesn't have to be a public of millions. Capbyrd hit it right on the head.
  9.   Bravo. Gets more idiotic every day.
  10.   I'm dipping my toe in the water with adjustable gas on the Grendel build. I won't have wildly varying pressures, and am doing it just to tune the gun. It will be a standard JP block mounted outside the handguard.   There's lots to like about the MicroMOA block.
  11.   Aw hell. I was hoping you made a Taliban ear necklace. Those things are cool :)
  12. Field adjustable is a biggie. I think the Noveske regulates the gas in a similar way, but the two settings are fixed
  13.   Part of the firearms community IS anti gay. Just check out TGO. The gays in the military thread may have been the best one. I just had to bring up the showers, just so I could watch some heads explode
  14.   None of these guys are gay. Well... there was that one time in college :)
  15.   Does seem to be a popular topic. Gets cold and lonely in the ole duck blind.
  16.   Oh HELL no! You done it now!
  17. We have the makings of another classic TGO gay thread! It's been a week or so since the last one petered out, so to speak.
  18. You would expect a gay guy to be a good shot. They got over that flinching thing a long time ago :)
  19.   You probably pissed 'em off :). You know how I feel about the DMV. I know they don't spit the permit right there, and they may make you get in the picture line. Mail is more better.
  20.   One thing's for sure. The odds of the guy being armed increased dramatically when he made it into his house. The folks on the bike weren't just gathering information either. They had his address when he pulled in the driveway. No reason to hang around.
  21.   They should just mail you one if your address is current. Mine just showed up
  22. Yes. They send you an application. It's like any bother government application. If you leave something out, or do it wrong in some other way, they'll reject it, and you lose your 50 bucks. I sent a money order so they didn't have to wait for a check to clear.   Once they process the application, they send you a letter that serves as a temporary permit if your old one has already expired. They do that before the renewal goes through the background check. Finally, your new permit shows up in the mail without ever having to go face-to-face with one of the fine folks at the drivers license place.   I sat on my application for at least a couple of months before I got around to sending it in.
  23.   There you go. I trust that lots more than the ramblings of some media goober. Like has been mentioned before, either side could have prevented it if they weren't so busy being stupid.
  24.   Yep. Too many questions. About all you can do is take note of who went to jail. I'm sure the cops were a lot better at gathering details than the "journalist".
