  1. Round two. Gonna be another Grendel...
  2.   Or little individual icons for all the different groups you hate. We can have homos, chinese, jews, blacks, cops, etc. If you don't have any icons, it means you just hate Obama :)
  3.   No reason to spend the money if you're happy with your results. Most factory edges aren't fine, even with the better knives.
  4.   And throat shovin' was around long before that expression. Nobody has to like anything.
  5. I'm too spastic, even for the Sharpmaker. I can put a good edge on one, but it's not pretty. It works real well if you're not spastic. I added the super fine stones to mine too.
  6.   And... "shoved down my throat" probably isn't the best choice of words in this thread. :)
  7.   I'm thinking that there probably wasn't any of that in the middle of the Rose parade.
  8.   Just wait. A gay wedding float thread has lots of potential :)
  9.   Yep. An AO scope will work too. You just don't need one that's fixed at 100 yards. I have AO scopes on my 10-22 and my 17 HMR.    EDIT: And BTW, it ain't just about parallax either. Center fire scopes (fixed parallax) tend to be out of focus at closer ranges where a .22 shoots the flattest.
  10. You need to make sure it's a rimfire scope. Center fire scopes have their parallax zeroed at 100 yards. Here's a decent one for 50 bucks. Parallax is zeroed at 50 yards...   http://www.midwayusa.com/product/211994/simmons-22-mag-rimfire-rifle-scope-3-9x-32mm-truplex-reticle-matte-with-rings   Looks like the rings may be crappy (the free ones usually are).
  11. It was at least a couple of months.
  12. Glad Herman Munster and out Idiot in Chief got this under control.
  13.   Last time I was at the range, I was sighting in my Blackout, and my friend's new 5.56 build. He had the red/green Vortex, and I have an Aimppoint. It was a sunny day, and I almost couldn't get the Vortex sighted in. Couldn't see the damn dot. I think we wound up having to switch it to green. There's a reason they make a "bright" red model.
  14.   Use this opportunity to switch to the bright red version. The red/green version sucks. It's not bright enough.
  15.   Once they fuck with the Duck Commander, there is no healing. :)
  16.   It's the main reason they don't max out the hardness when they heat treat blade steel. Brittle ain't a good quality for a knife edge, and I don't know how you can avoid it with ceramic.
  17. I should have laughed in his face when he produced that badge, and then told him to kiss your burly ass.
  18.   The reason for their existence goes way over my head. Let's make a knife out of knife sharpening material. That's the ticket :)
  19.   My friend Rightwinger used a .458 SOCOM on deer. I suspect he did it 'cause he's lazy. From what I'm told, they didn't go anywhere once they were shot. Rightwinger's lengthy description... "Kills 'em dead". Besides, it's hard to beat a big bore for hogs.
  20. Small change. I've been staring down the cobbled up, clunky ass, half Chinese optic mount, and just can't stand the thought of leaving it there. Got a 20 MOA mount going into UPS today from the Great State of Texas (Larue). It's gonna be more better.
  21.   That's just for the buffer tube and stock, and they just have to be the same type. I commercial stock will be loose on a milspec tube.
  22.   The one we're talking about is a great entry level smoker. Here's some guidance...   http://www.smoking-meat.com/
  23.   You can afford anything if you really really like pinto beans :)
