  1.   It's hard to find a nicer guy than David. And, I'll say thet right in front of him :)
  2.   I would say that you're way over-simplifying with that statement. Off the rack bolt guns are generally cheaper than gas guns. Here's a .308 gas gun with a .5 MOA guarantee out of the box.   http://www.lesbaer.com/AR308.html   Gas guns are a little harder to do. You can get better ultimate accuracy with a tweaked up bolt gun. Fact is though, once you get better than .5 MOA, the skill of the shooter get's real important. The AR platform wants to be accurate if you dump the milspec handguard and trigger, and use a decent barrel.
  3.   I'm missed everybody except David and one TGO guy. We were on a gas block mission.
  4.   6.8 is in Knoxville. Talked to him earlier.
  5. Went there to get a gas block. Walked around for a minute, said hi to David, and left. Had to get back and finish the upper. Good show.
  6.   All you can afford? Fess up, you're just naturally cheap. :)
  7. Yep. Hard to take it real seriously.
  8.   We are talking about the same thing. You have three services running along those right of ways... power, telephone, and cable. There is no room to add any other services to those right of ways, mostly because of available pole space. So cable DOES have the exact same monopoly status as power and telephone. Hell, they operate their business the same way. If they don't pay, cut them off.   Comcast, as an ISP is just part of their bandwidth. Nobody can compete with them, because they own the lowest tier on the poles, and there ain't room for anybody else.   Whether you agree with regulation or not, you gotta agree they're as much a monopoly as wired phones, at least.
  9.   The geissele won't wear out as fast either, from what I've read. Here ya go. 16" Grendel barrel in stock...   http://www.midwayusa.com/product/884877/ar-stoner-barrel-and-bolt-ar-15-65-grendel-medium-m4-contour-1-in-8-twist-16-stainless-steel
  10.   Almost a Grendel spin, except they can't make the case any fatter. The 458 SOCOM case (which may be the parent for this one) is as big as you can fit in the barrel extension.
  11.   Never used their barrels, but would buy anything from YHM with confidence.

    New pistol

      No.
  13.   I'm pretty sure that's a real girl. Natural hair color doesn't matter (unless it's red).
  14.   What i was sayin' :)
  15. Beck's response. It's a good un...   http://www.glennbeck.com/2014/01/16/harvey-weinstein-promises-to-make-the-nra-wish-they-werent-alive-with-new-film/
  16.   First of all, you usually can't tell if they're a blonde from a picture. Reminds me of the old joke... What do you get when you turn a blonde upside down? A brunette.   I have tested this theory many times, BTW.
  17.   Yep. Kinda hard not to just view them as the enemy.
  18.   You would think. And then, we have one of the worst governments in the history of shitty governments. Doesn't sound good, but I'm still inclined to wait for it to shake out a little before I believe some Journalists and some of Obama's favorite storm troopers.
  19.   THIS Saiga 12    http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/74867-converted-saiga-12/
  20.   Not a thing. If you do it right, you'll wind up on TV :)
  21.   It's not about them. It's about the idiots that wind up in the news. There's a big difference between carrying for the right reason, and going out to make a statement and stir up crap. In about 98% of the cases, if you wind up on TV because of your gun... you're an idiot. Those people hurt gun owners, which means they hurt me.
  22.   I don't have any buddies there either. If anybody can get it, David can
  23.   No shit  :x:
  24.   Did you have them put your name on a jug at the Reloaders Bench? That's where I found mine. I would at least have them hunting for some
