  1.   I doubt that. I think it's just sloppy tolerances, and probably the sabot messing with bullet stability when it falls away..
  2.   I'm fine with the last upgrade. I waited until they patched it a few times before I let them do it. I wonder if you had a hiccup while it was doing the upgrade.
  3.   That just made me cringe :) May not even make it through a tight muzzle brake
  4.   And, you're entitled to that :). We depend on our phones, up to and including using VNC over VPN. I didn't just dump the Droid and go back to the iPhone. My whole department did, with much enthusiasm. We had to reach into our own pockets to get it done too.   And BTW... we couldn't even get VPN to work on our Droids, and we have Cisco AND Juniper connections available.
  5. Back when Remington was making factory sabot ammo in 30-06 and .308 cases, I don't recall it being the most accurate stuff out there. It WAS real fast.
  6.   Great knife. Pricey too. Same basic attitude as the ripple, only titanium. Same blade steel as the Ripple stainless (Acuto +).
  7.   The thought of stepper switches make me cringe. Talk about an accident waiting to happen.

    MLK day

Yep. I think MLK is probably more Facebook turf. Jan Brewer may have written the best thing I saw all day.
  9. It's real hard to hurt a ZT. I carry a ZT0550 most of the time. 5.8 oz with a 3.5" blade. One slab is titanium...
  10.   Yep. That's one of the reasons I threw up the Endura with the full flat grind blade. It's pretty light for such a big knife.
  11.   Yep. 416 Thunder Puff :)
  12.   I fixed my Android problem with an iPhone V. Got tired of rebooting the damn thing, and that's just scratching the surface.
  13.   Pain meds kicked in :)
  14.   The FFL does keep the records, legally. Doesn't matter what he writes down. What matters is what he has to tell the TBI when he calls it in. The TBI is supposed to dispose of THEIR information. Got nothing to do with the form.   Or... what TMF said :)
  15.   Actually, they searched him because wifey piped up and guessed where the gun might be. Don't give probable cause to the man with SS on his collar.
  16.   Go here...   http://www.tomshardware.com/news/Windows-8-Hacks-Windows-7-Start-button-Metro-UI-Desktop-Mode,21161.html
  17.   Can't fix the feds. I can only stop direct contributions.
  18. They will in TN. Not sure about other states. Somebody smarter than me will probably be along to answer that one.
  19.   I have a hard time feeding the monster. It's not just about guns. That's a symptom.
  20.   I've known lots of folks from Illinois over the years. Even married one once. Out of those folks, a lot were more inclined to ignore stupid laws than folks in these parts. One of these days. I'll tell the story about my high speed chase with the police. I was chasing them :)
  21.   Lots of good ole rednecks there too. And, I agree. Both states are victims of large commie cesspools.
  22.   Not a lot of beauty in Illinois. Calling Cummo a douchebag is going way easy on him. He needs a good southern style ass whippin'.
  23.   Falls under the heading of "Don't fix what ain't broke". I just wanna use my computer.
  24.   First thing I do with a new HP laptop is blast it back to the Stone Age, and load a new OS from scratch. Just gotta make sure you have compatible hardware drivers. The manufacturers, including HP are bad about only writing drivers for the "latest and greatest" OS. They're a lot less likely to do that on enterprise class machines, because they've had too many large IT organizations refuse to use their latest. Like I said earlier, while the Vista debacle was in full swing, we wouldn't buy any hardware unless they could provide XP drivers.   So, if it was my machine, I would check for hardware compatibility with Win 7, and then wipe the drive and start from scratch. Piss on the HP add-ons.
  25.   It will make a pretty good grease puddle on the sidewalk :)
