  1. I have a buttload of them. No short barrels and no bump stocks. I really liked the pistol brace idea, but always viewed it as low hanging fruit.
  2. Count me into that. So, a gun owner can't anticipate our ####ty government acting the way they always act? Doesn't mean I agree with them. I just saw it coming. Bump stocks too.
  3. It killed a lot of people. Just not as many as they said. It's exactly like racism. If you talk to the folks that profit from it, it's WAY bigger than it really is. Promoters gonna promote.
  4. I haven't talked to him in awhile. Last time was Facebook.
  5. That should go easier. It's not a wildcat. And there's unlimited brass availability. It ain't near as throaty when you shoot it though.
  6. Other than the fact that we had no good load data when we all started out, the 458 was a breeze for me. And I had a midlength upper, thanks to my buddy Brent. I didn't shoot many subs. But I shot a lot of everything else. I'm due for an outing with mine.
  7. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.458_SOCOM
  8. Marty was a good source. He's the daddy of the caliber. Rock River always did a good job too. They can just make you wait for months.
  9. Sure. They didn't lie on purpose.
  10. I love the caliber. But, there are some pitfalls to the build. My RRA upper was flawless. And Tony Rumore (Tromix) in Tulsa built the prototype. I don't know Bear Creek. I do know that you can't go wrong with Tromix. I bought my RRA probably 10 years ago. They still make the uppers too.
  11. I was really hoping you would say Tromix
  12. And when you look through your dead optic, there they are. May have to hit a couple of buttons.
  13. Larue is my all time favorite QD mount. I have a few of them.
  14. Who made the upper? You may have an issue in the barrel assembly. I can't imagine the case not being scratched up when that happens. Red's right. It will give clues.
  15. Here is one of my stock Lancer mags with a couple of hand loads. My Lancer mags have fed a large variety of loads, both factory and hand loads.
  16. I just use Lancer mags in mine. My upper is an RRA. Never had a feed problem, even with 500 grain subs. Does your feed ramp look like this?
  17. Are you using factory ammo? Carbine length gas? I use a standard spring and buffer in mine. Never a problem cycling.
  18. It was a long time ago. And he wasn't selling holsters then. But, I'll never be able to find it. I think it was in one of the Magpul Handgun videos. But when it comes down to it, everybody is responsible for their own Johnson. 3:00 OWB for me.
  19. As much trouble as Little Mike has cause me over the years, I'm not willing to walk around with a gun pointed at him. I'm with Travis Haley when it comes to appendix carry. Glock butt is one thing. Transgender by fire is another.
  20. Yep. The original image is him holding a humongous butt plug
  21. Light up your senators if ya want... https://act.nraila.org/actions/campaigns/12425?fbclid=IwAR3JL4a-S-G7hUH5seu4r2htM2H0q4r5Ygzz0W5GKzElr-DsARixoFrC8no
  22. He's perfect for the guy that brung him. Kinda looks like one of those blow-up girlfriends too. .
  23. Some folks weren't as lucky. Unfortunately, the politics around this thing were probably more toxic than the disease. I am not real concerned about the safety of the vaccine. And, I'm not all that scared of Covid, even though it would probably kill me. The main reason I got vaccinated was so I can use the Kat Timpf quote, "I'm vaccinated, so f#ck off".
