  1.   Or... you know a 2 3/4" shell probably won't chamber all the way in a 2 1/2" gun. I KNOW a fired one won't, because it would be deep into the cone.
  2.   A 20 gauge shotgun shell is .684.
  3. OK, these are to SAAMI max specs. Drop a 3" shell into the gun, and it should almost chamber. If it sticks out by at least a 1/4". then you have a 2 1/2" chamber. I'll be intersted to see what real measurement you get.
  4.   May be able to do it with a 3" shell, since you're not looking for exacts. Let me do some noodling. The shell will stop somewhere in the first half of the cone. I think I can get close enough to resolve a 1/4" difference. note that there's no SAAMI spec on a 2 1/5" chamber.   Anyway, I'll come up with a drawing. Just gimme a little while
  5. That 5 degree forcing cone makes it more difficult. You can have one made...   http://www.nevadashooters.com/showthread.php?t=18270   Or, you can make a chamber casting and drag it out where you can measure it...   http://www.midwayusa.com/product/462291/cerrosafe-chamber-casting-alloy-1-2-lb   Or, you can buy one from Brownell's   Or, you can start a thread on TGO :)

  7.   What i been sayin'... you gotta have the cod piece.
  8. I have the 4500. Can't go wrong there. Got no opinions on spotting scopes
  9.   Don't forget something to protect the cojones
  10. And it's groundhog day...
  11. I don't mind airport security. I mind stupid.
  12.   Yep. That's why I call them Mayors Against Guns. That's what they have been from day one.
  13. The stuff you wear ain't heavy enough. I'm gonna weld some steel plates onto my truck. Let them bitches come after me then.
  14. I use a Tipton carbon fiber rod and Tipton jags. Never have tried the Deweys
  15.   It's about the only sensible thing they've done. Like you said, way too late.
  16.   I've actually told a few that they would have to do it themselves, because their "hired guns" are gun owners too. Then, I followed up with "Oh, and be careful". Haven't got a response yet :)
  17.   I just can't take it either. I almost hit one of them in Dallas. I would still be in jail.
  18.   Should be a .458 SOCOM. Inspired by Somalians, tested in Oklahoma. :)
  19. I'll just drive.
  20.   That may be. But, there's nothing more refreshing than a boatload of thievin' Somalians engulfed in flames. :)
  21.   I'll admit that I've been following it pretty closely. Fact is, I really really want him to meet Bubba. :)
  22. I never could figure out why they couldn't find some way to protect themselves, especially as tall as most ships are. A coke bottle, rag, and some gasoline is an effective weapon when you have a 30-40 foot height advantage.
  23.  The Gun Grabber in Chief failed to mention that part.
  24.   This is awesome!   BTW, I think he probably needed some hate mail. Good thing that hatchet is buried now.
