It's usually tough to just up and dump a woman, because the little head is totally incapable of rational thought. I'm speaking from experience. Also from experience, there are millions of them out there. No reason to waste your time on one that's gonna do lots of damage to you. If I lose the one I have today, I know that there will be another one come along any minute. And, I'm an old fart.

  I have a stainless Marlin in .17 HMR. The magwell is a little cheesy, but it's accurate. I'm tellin' ya, you gotta fondle a Henry before you make the jump.

  The 300 is a friggin moose knife. Never have carried mine. You should try the 550. It's as close to a real Hinderer as it gets, only reasonably priced and available.

  What I really want is one in .17 HMR, especially if you could get the accuracy of a bolt gun.

Somebody in the US needs to start building the Saiga 12. Like anything else the Obama clown show does, there should be a way around it. That's a great design that needs to continue on in the US. Not fighting Obama is not really apathy. Sumbitch doesn't care about laws. How do you fight that?

  I have 3 Protech knives now, and haven't carried any of them so far. I agree that the TGO knife won't ever get used, even though it would make a great EDC. I like automatics, and am real happy that we can carry them. I just haven't stopped carrying my ZT0550. Ain't nothin' wrong with it. :)

I don't own one (do own a .17 HMR), but I have almost bought a Henry in 22 mag more than once. Love those guns. NOBODY has ever been able to make a semiauto work in that caliber.

I have a 637 and it kicks like a mule. My girlfriend has the hammerless version, and doesn't hate shooting hers as much as i do mine. She does use reduced recoil loads. I tried a Hogue grip on mine. It makes the gun lots more pleasant to shoot, but ruins it for carry. Currently, it's on the girlfriend's kitchen J frame, a Lady Smith. She doesn't carry that one.

Sounds like you need to make damn sure that the FFL includes you SSN when they run the check. Knock on wood, I've never been denied, and have been through 25 or so. I always include my SSN. That doesn't do much good if the FFL leaves it off the check.
