Lisinopril-HCTZ gave me a dry cough. It's a common side effect. Doesn't happen with some folks. It got worse as time went along. If you have that problem, try Losartan-HCTZ. Worked as well on my BP numbers without the side effect. If you have the cough and can't deal with it, your doctor will most likely try losartan anyway. It's a pretty common substitute.

  Hard to argue with that. It won't ever be that way. And, you know all the reasons why. Best we can hope for is to temper it. And if they're taking YOUR stuff, sizzle their nuts on the hot pavement :)

I agree. I'm pretty familiar. Lived there. Married a girl from there once. Still have a bunch of friends there. The bulk of the population is in the Chicago area, and they just have the bulk of the votes as well. So, when I call it a sorry state, I mean the government.

  Illinios is an ultra liberal, gun hating state that was forced to allow concealed carry by the courts. They are not going to just "come around". They will have to be dragged into it, kicking and screaming. No enlightenment to be found in that sorry state (should say sorry place, Chicago).
