  1. I'll kill a venomous snake in a heartbeat. Spiders... they're all evil. Same thing with wasps. Meat eating bugs creep me out, and I want them all dead.
  2.   Yep. They just can't enforce it with out-of-state companies. They have the authority to enforce it with residents. It's just hard to do. They will audit businesses and make them pay.
  3. I had a little black snake, looks like the same species, hanging out in my garage. He had no desire to leave. Coiled and shook his tail like a rattlesnake. I'm not scared of snakes, but still wasn't going to pick this one up. Slapped him out of the garage with a broom, and he still didn't retreat. So, we wound up doing battle all the way across the driveway.   When it comes to spiders, they are just gonna die when I see them. I try to leave wolf spiders alone, but it never works out that way.
  4.   I would jump on that.
  5. That's pretty cool. And, ALL those blades are legal now!
  6.   Glad you like it. I'm betting it shrunk your groups.
  7.   It's all about numbers. Noncompliance by 100 people and you're right. Noncompliance by 100,000, and you're not. I agree that getting the law changed is the ultimate solution. But with that said, I would be one that wouldn't comply.
  8.   Yep. My Godfather and Godson both have maple burl scales and satin blades. Pretty cool knives, but not near as cool as it gets.
  9.   Sure looks that way.
  10.   Yep, cause there's nothing more stimulating than going up against your own Glock 23 with a pop gun :)

    Glock42

Me neither, except I really like it. It won't replace the LCP. It's too long.

      Now you're talkin' :)
  13.   More likely that there will be a bunch of ebola juice swimming in the Rio Grande, as a result of concerned citizens closing the border themselves.

    Glock42

The 42 isn't all that thick to me. I compared it to my LCP. Definitely lightweight compared to all the 9's. I've also compared the LCP to the LC9. Much beefier gun. Sometimes the size specs just don't tell the story.
  15.   That sumbitch needs a double dose of ebola
  16.   The only "if" was the delivery date. I knew Geissele would nail it, like he does everything else.
  17. The big problem, as has been mentioned by some folks on the TV... this thing could quickly overwhelm the system. You had one sick African, and look at all the resources it took just to track the exposures from him. What if that turns into 50, and they have to track 50 people for each one of them. This could snowball in no time, especially with the Incompetent in Chief driving the bus.

You built the Spud Magnum! I wish you had a picture. Yep, we decided early on that a potato might just disintegrate when we got the muzzle velocity up where it needed to be. So, the next most likely projectile was a tennis ball.   EDIT: BTW, we also planned to use acetylene and oxygen as the propellant!
  19. I reload 45. That brings the cost right down

    Potato guns

BTW... we weren't gonna put a red button on the magnum. The plan was to fire remotely, in case it decided to launch more than the potato.
  21.   There could be something good come from that, if they're not doing it to save the ducks. Copper can make some good bullets.

    Potato guns

We had plans, years ago, to build a spud magnum out of steel pipe and a better propellant. Never got around to it, but it kept us pretty busy while we were drinkin' :)
  23.   I know. Brought a tear to my eye
  24.   When I take this whole thing back to its roots, which is the severe butt whipping they took from a crazy guy with a mini 14, I can't give them much credibility. They blamed the guns, instead of crappy tactics. Sure, they threw lots of money at it, and got lots of good data. Still doesn't excuse their flawed CYA logic. You show up to a rifle fight with inferior firepower, and then go looking for a new caliber.    And what's this new projectile technology? The picture in the article is a Winchester Ranger. Isn't that just a black talon without the moly? Nothing new about that. I don't see anything wrong with them going back to 9mm. Just kinda irks me to see another government pig that's just plumb covered in lipstick.
