  1.   It can't be with the 3/16" error
  2. Extractor is easy. The ejector isn't. I have a specialized tool for that. you can find your true headspacing by measuring the shoulder bump on fired brass with the RCBS micrometer.
  3. If it chambers factory ammo, and there's no evidence of excessive pressure on the fired brass, you are fine. 3/16" is WAY out of spec, and indicates that the gauge is faulty, or not dropping into the bolt correctly. Try pushing the bolt closed with the forward assist. I wouldn't bang on it. Just give it a thumb push and see if it snaps into the bolt.   The big danger with headspace is when the no go drops in easily. That's the recipe for a kaboom. no matter what, the fired brass will tell the whole story. I have one of these...   http://www.midwayusa.com/product/477756/rcbs-precision-mic-223-remington
  4. I was gonna suggest a trip to Fargo, but it's 63 there. Damn global warming :)

They're a little quicker than a smoke pole
  6.   Yep. It sucks. It was extra effort just sighting in a red dot. I shot Willis's gun. He has since added a geissele trigger pack, and gave it rave reviews. i haven't yanked it myself, but am real familiar with Geissele's work. FWIW, I don't think the heavy trigger is a result of poor engineering. I think it was done with a "New York" trigger mentality. Anyway, the Geissele fixes it.

Just razzin' you. PMAGs really are better. You will have a chance to compare.
  8.   Liberals are victims. It's how they view life.

Yep. I have some USGI mags, but never use them. Pretty much all PMAGs, and Lancers for the calibers that PMAGS don't like. I will use GI mags in my A2, because it's all milspec.   Cracker will come around. He's just a little slow since he got blown up.
  10. Bill always knocks it out of the park
  11.   Gonna start calling you Oh Shoot Esq. :)
  12.   Michael Brown... the lethal round was a head shot. Hard to do, but almost always instant gratification.
  13.   Never had a pistol bug. Since the Sig brace came out, that is changing. I have a stripped lower set back, and can feel my credit card wiggling in my back pocket :)
  14.   The residents need to insist
  15.   Yep. Fry the little bastard.
  16. Hundreds of liberals just peed themselves :)
  17. I have some black powder 45 Colt loads for my single action. They're fun, but make a real mess of the gun.
  18.   I used to shoot +P's in mine all the time, back in the day (again, late 70's). Just sayin', S&W said no even back then. The new 36 is a different gun. They don't make the short cylinder anymore. I probably won't ever shoot +p's in the one I have now. The gun is too hard to replace.
  19.   I'm pretty sure everyone will lean that way once semi autos have been fully tested and proven reliable :). I have been testing a high cap 9 since the late 70's, and am damn near convinced.
  20.   38 special is a black powder case. Bullseye didn't exist.

  22.   You must have one of those newfangled 36's. Mine is standard pressure only
