  1.   Hang on... I'll be right back with my .458 SOCOM upper. This guy REALLY needs it. :)
  2.   No matter what they do to spoil the fun, it's still gonna be a pistol. That's their whole point.
  3.   Of course they didn't claim it. They didn't deny it either. Sure looks like a stock to me. First thing I thought. It's the first thing everybody thought when they saw it.
  4.   I dare them to say it wasn't designed as a stock. That would be an Obama quality lie.
  5.   Nope. Coddlin' the jewels. :)
  6.   Yep. Surprised me. I still wouldn't pick it as a regular stock.
  7.   With the popularity of good bullpups, like the Tavor, the whole SBR thing is kinda outdated. Just the gov'ment doing what they can to mess with those icky guns. It was obvious to me the first time i saw the Sig Brace. That thing is a stock, uncomfortable as it may be.
  8. I'm strapping mine to my Johnson. Let me be the first to get pecker blastin' outlawed at the federal level. :) Need to rig a bump fire device while I'm at it.
  9.   It should be a walk in the park then. I have had a wrestling match or two with the forward assist pin myself. The gas pin is always real easy as long as the tube is lined up.
  10. http://www.amazon.com/Ar15-Roll-Pin-Starter-Punch/dp/B0083UUOOG   Git you some
  11.   I use blue. Then, make sure they're torqued down with a Fat Wrench. I don't use gas blocks that screw into the barrel. I always use clamp type. if you want something that won't come off with heat, you can always do this...   http://www.brownells.com/gunsmith-tools-supplies/general-gunsmith-tools/thread-locking-liquids/rocksett-prod54624.aspx
  12.   Yep. Kinda like the shoe bomber. They are going to find the other one soon.
  13.   I always Loctite the set screws in gas blocks. Not sure that it helps.
  14.   I did 3. They needed it
  15.   Don't tell anybody... you just need to put the forward assist roll pin in from the top, and just make sure you don't ding the receiver :).
  16.   The DPMS block gets in the way. The pins from the DPMS worked in the home made block.
  17. Here's what I did for lapping...
  18. I love roll pins. Used to hate 'em. Now I don't
  19.   That's Obama and Feinstein. Apparently, you missed the big gun grab after Sandy Hook. Me... I'll keep sending money to the NRA, so they can fight some of those gun hating commies that some people vote for. :)
  20.   I was gonna say. These are Chris Reeve class fixed blades. Nice stuff.
  21. Congrats. Don't drop it on your big toe.
  22. Always thought this was kinda goofy myself. I'm not all eaten up with Costa hate like you, but never rushed out and bought any of his videos either. Point is, in this thread, we may not all know Costa as well as you, but we all know him well enough to believe that he's probably truthful about pistols failing in one of his classes.
  23.   You don't just replace 34,000 cops on the spot. If those cops walk, NYC has no police department for a significant time. It ain't about available bodies. It's about knowing where all the rats are buried. Mayor Commie, OTOH, can be replaced in a heartbeat. The NYPD is worth hundreds of his sorry ass.
