  1.   That light is getting lots of attention right now. Already read about the weak neck. Perfect form factor. Don't plan on gaming. If it will hold up to standard abuse, that's good enough.
  2. Update. 1 Inforce light ordered
  3. There are a couple of Inforce lights in my near future. I singed the eyebrows off that Fenix when I was sighting the gun in. Since the keymod rail will let you mount on the 45, I'm hoping there's some simple keymod solution.
  4.   Not complicated at all. Captive screws. Slip them into the keyhole slots and tighten them. You can use small pic rail sections as well. For example, the two guns above will get short rail sections on the end so I can use my American Defense bipod mount.   I wasn't real jazzed about the looks. It's the main reason I held off. Now I'm sold. Great functionality, and compatible with all the picatinny stuff.
  5.   I replaced a Daniel Defense rail on one of those guns. So, price wasn't an issue. I didn't fall in love with the looks so much. Didn't fall in love until I put the rifle in my hands. Plain and simple fact... there is no reason to have front to back rails on a rifle.
  6.   Yes
  7. THIS is tedious. You gotta be real careful to don't cut your finger when you're opening those beers...   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCWni2nNNeE
  8.   Nah. On second thought, you can swap the barrel and turn it into a gun.
  9.   Nah. 23 stays in the safe. Wanna buy it? :)
  10.   I was with you for a long time. I have changed my mind. SOLD. I'm not going to start throwing away Daniel Defense rails, but am tickled to death with these carbines.
  11.   Not by everybody. Girls and some gay guys like 'em just fine.
  12.   They're retro now. Got those cheap ass busted up Eotechs on them. :)
  13.   Thanks. They are my oldest AR's. Been upgraded a gazillion times. I might be about done. :)
  14. I am a little late jumping on the Keymod thing. I am thrilled with these. The angle foregrips are BCM KAG's. They were a collaboration between BCM and Travis Haley. I never liked the Magpul angled foregrips, but I LOVE these. Anyway, here they are. I won't get into why there are two. That kinda stuff just happens to me. The Stainless M4 profile barrel on the second rifle is new as well.
  15.   AFIK, the forward assist was before the A2. That and the brass deflector. The original AR would beat a leftie in the face with brass... until it jammed :)
  16.   A friend of mine had a woodie. They're pretty cute in person.
  17.   Nah, unless you shoot irons all the time. I have two legacy AR's with military front sights, but my go to guns all have optics. If I am shooting optics, I want the front (and rear) iron sight out of the way.
  18.   I just hit it during a dry spell, and way too impatient to wait for one. I got this one...   http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-20-Rifle-Length-Barrel-Stripped-p/bcm-brl-s-20%20std.htm
  19.   Sho did. When I did mine, a barrel was real hard to find. BCM was the only place for a Gov profile (in stock), and theirs didn't have a front sight attached. So, I had to track one down and send the whole mess to Adco. Hope you have better luck.
  20.   Yep. Bad tactics. Bad shooting. Some of those guys were carrying Model 59's too.
  21. Do they call it the Red Ryder? :)
  22.   I can't believe the Feds blamed the caliber for the Miami shootout. One of the more expensive ass covering operations in history.
  23.   20" heavy? Nothin' better for a 10 mile hike :)
  24.   Pure and simple truth.
  25. Speak for yourself there, tender knuckles. :) Here's the one I built. It IS a 1:7 twist barrel by BCM. But, the A2 didn't have a pencil barrel, and DID have a 1:7 twist. This was as accurate as I could get it. The barrel cost me quite a bit by the time I had Adco stick the front sight on it. If you are gonna build from scratch, I have a DPMS rear sight kit still in the package...
