  1. A large portion of that 1 million probably needs killing anyway. Let 'er rip, tater chip.
  2.   Profit leads to growth, but it isn't growth. Growth happens with increased revenues, decreased expenses, or a combination of the two. It's why Wall Street tends to ruin companies.    A company can be profitable without requiring addition funding to operate, but may not grow from one year to the next. In order to keep the stock price flat or growing, the pressure (by investors) is to budget the company so shows growth, even if the top line is flat. So, the investors give you a number, and to hit it with revenue projections and adjusted operating expenses. I have been through those exercises a lot over the years.
  3.   Yep. I forgot all about the cost of government regulations. They have increased all around us over the last several years, as the government saves us from all kinds of evil and unhealthy shit.
  4. I was a pretty big Midway customer, and have exchanged emails with Larry a time or two. They are not what they were, and screwed up my last two expedited shipping orders. In fact, the last screwup was done using free Larry bucks from the previous. When I was in the process of bitching about all the, the customer service person told me that Larry is no longer involved in the day-to-day at midway. Like I said... it ain't what it once was.
  5.   Sorry for jumping in so late. The root problem is that Wall Street doesn't give a rat's ass about profit. They only care about growth. So, if the top line doesn't grow, they will squeeze the growth from the bottom. THAT'S how you wind up short on pickles. Now, no matter what the cause (like liberal policies), if there isn't a vibrant economy, stuff is gonna get squeezed. Wages, quality, number of jobs, all of it suffers. I believe liberal policies have a huge impact. So do all my friends in business.    Feel the Bern  :bored:
  6.   You just gotta regulate your force so they die from the sizzle instead of blunt trauma :). They're kinda heavy for a fly swatter.
  7.   I bought a couple once. They work.
  8.   +1 for the electric metal shears
  9. I have a ton of Harbor freight stuff. They have some pretty good stuff, some true junk, and some excellent stuff. It's hard to beat their mobile bases for power tools, or their tool stands. I have a few of their power tools too, even though most of my stuff leans toward Dewalt, Bosch, Ridgid, and that basic grade. But if you're careful, and read the reviews, you can get good reliable stuff there.   In most cases, I don't get anything there for heavy use.
  10. Nanna is hard headed. Got little brother straight...
  11. I just installed a BCM KMR handguard on one of the SAME uppers. Barrel nut was tight on that one. FWIW, I lapped the upper receiver and bedded the barrel when I put it back together. The gun shoots sub MOA now. 60 yards, 1/4" group with two through the same hole. That was with the extra crappy stock trigger too.   I would notify PSA.
  12. That was Aunt Babush Soetoro. She's always been a little cranky.
  13.   If you're selling hats on the internet...
  14. There is something to be said for blade steel that can be sharpened on a brick. I like Elmax. But you see a lot of fixed blade knives, including all of mine, that use carbon steel, not stainless.   Not downing these knives. Just not sure I would wanna mess one up making an ear necklace
  15.   Yep... what winger said.
  16.   Yes it is. Reasonably priced for a Steve says, "a big chunk of Elmax".
  17.   If i buy into dry fire, it will be a SIRT.
  18. Nice job!
  19.   Those gov'ment guys exist to feed themselves. Could be prostate exams instead of background checks. At least they're stopping the terrorists from blowing shit up. :)
  20. I have the Bushnell AR scope. I really like it. I have it on my Blackout rifle. I bought it because it has turrets, illumination, and is First Focal Plane. I wouldn't give you a nickel for a BDC reticle, especially on a 300 Blackout. Too many different loads.
  21.   But... the government must have control, because uhhhh because
  22.   Well... saw the video earlier today and knew he was selling something. I assumed it was his superior sherriffin'. Whoda thunk he was selling hats :)
