Pressure pad or tail cap switch?
Pain103 replied to maroonandwhite's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
My work rifle I have the pressure pad but mounted it to my grip pod. If I didn’t have vertical grip I would stay with tail cap. -
Conditional green card, denied carry permit
Pain103 replied to DrJones's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I may just be confused but just doing some Googlefu a I-551 with an expiration is considered “conditional”. I would think you would have to get to the stage of I-551 without the expiration to be considered a permanent resident. -
I imagine a locked thread in the future.

Let’s say they pass this federally that makes it federal law not state law. Unless they pass it on state level it can’t be enforced by non federal LE. I can’t charge someone for a federal law violation. If they truly were going to do it to get it done they would pass legislation federally then pay off the states by some named “grant” to enact laws and enforce it. Just my opinion. But if they did pass something like this there would be some people playing the system either get rid of guns or just to harass others that happens no matter what the situation is.

55-10-803. Offense of leaving child unattended in motor vehicle -- Penalty. (a) It is an offense for a person responsible for a child younger than seven (7) years of age to knowingly leave that child in a motor vehicle located on public property or while on the premises of any shopping center, trailer park, or any apartment house complex, or any other premises that is generally frequented by the public at large without being supervised in the motor vehicle by a person who is at least thirteen (13) years of age, if: (1) The conditions present a risk to the child's health or safety; (2) The engine of the motor vehicle is running; or (3) The keys to the motor vehicle are located anywhere inside the passenger compartment of the vehicle. (b) A violation of this section is a Class B misdemeanor punishable only by a fine of two hundred dollars ($200) for the first offense. (c) A second or subsequent violation of this section is a Class B misdemeanor punishable only by a fine of five hundred dollars ($500). If the adult was present and children were in no danger he was an idiot.

I would imagine EMS was notified immediately but if someone is dead they cant do anything. A dead body isn’t moved initially for evidence and scene purposes. Also most task forces are comprised of federal and local officers. I would say that may be one reason it is investigated by TBI and they also do many federal prosecutions so if something was wrong they could assist in prosecution. I’m sure there are some federal eyes on the investigation.

https://dl.safety.tn.gov/_/ Go to that page enter the information and then change your address. You are all good after that.

Change the address online through department of safety it’s free. You don’t need another copy unless you just want one. Once you change the address it applies to license and permit.

Hattie B’s is good but I’m really enjoying Big Shake’s hot chicken in Goodlettsville. They all have no heat chicken. Now days I wouldn’t go anywhere in Nashville without a gun but day time downtown should be ok just watch for beggers. I think the zoo has a no gun rule on the board above the ticket counter bit don’t remember an actual gun buster.

Still different card I had heard they were going to a new picture every time you renew HCP. The application is just the paperwork at the station just tell them you need a HCP renewel and its not a long form to complete. When I renewed mine in November I was there less than hour.

I would imagine he would opt for a bench trial. No jurors takes emotion and other things out of the trial.

If you know any Metro guys ask about the new rules handed down. They have been instructed to essentially be less proactive. With the crazy spending and rise in violent crime Nashville will be a gem.

Ok

That crud on the pistol is the lining of the holster. Same stuff on all the Safariland duty holsters. I would bet when that holster was shot the liner broke apart along with the heat caused it to stick on the gun.

Video: Defendant Lunges for Oregon Officer's Gun in Court
Pain103 replied to volshayes's topic in General Chat
In federal court only federal officers are armed. Funny thing those court security officers working for US Marshals can only carry while working but most are retired officers and carry their piece once out the door. -
The video made me cringe and I wouldn’t be suprised if he is convicted of a lesser offense. The worst part of this is the actions by the DA. Any case in the past would be presented to the grand jury where only the prosecutors and investigators can attend to present evidence and answer questions. The old saying is the grand jury will indict a ham sandwich, so the rumor is either the DA didn’t like the current grand jury or he is getting some good PR from the groups. He the made them go to a general sessions judge to sign the warrant after a magistrate refused. In Davidson County the system doesn’t work like that. Judges only typically issue bench warrants or maybe probation warrants. Its odd they didn’t follow the system. Also they made the DA investigator swear out the warrant and scratched out the TBI agent’s name and still used his probable cause affidavit.

Does Tennessee need a Soccer team and new stadium??
Pain103 replied to bersaguy's topic in General Chat
I don’t think Nashville is ready for it but I’m not against a team eventually. Davison County is screwed because they have let the city control the entire county so more tax base to fund urban sevices area. -
I use Cook’s. Great service always super friendly. Wife has a relative that works for the company and said they keep it in check and hold their people to a high standard.

About 8 or 9 years ago myself and the rangemaster took several expired vests in various conditions and shot them them with all the rounds they were rated for. All the vests that were taken care of stopped them while the ragged vests that looked like a slob took care of them failed. The vest that was around 10 years expired held up against a 12 gauge slug.

It would depend on their state law. They won’t convict for it but maybe met the statute definition for a charge.
