  1.  I'm kind of torn on it. I would never raise my hand to a woman but at the same time I'm not gonna stand around be a punching bag either.
  2.   After being in LE for 13 years I can say I've talked to several people that have just left me thinking the exact same thing.     But as far the search topic people get too fired up on both sides. You have one side that says never consent, you are an idiot if you ever do. Than the other side says just allow it and move on if nothing to hide. I can see both sides but each person has to make their own decision and not try to influence someone else's mind. You will run into the idiots on the job who think they have to search everybody or don't know how to talk/read people to see if something shady is going on. But usually what I see on the street from the typical patrol officer is if you aren't acting super nervous or have a record a mile long I don't see people asking to search. I have actually noticed many of the new officers that have only been raised on stats/compstat they want to make a stop give a warning and move on to the next, just hoping to find somebody with a warrant because they can't talk to people or know how to do anything else.
  3.   I see you're are a fan of LE calling them dumb and stupid.
  4.  It was like hitting a mute button when he gave her that lame punch.
  5.  I don't know about all of those but I feed my boy Purina pro plan it seems to do fine. One meal a day gives him all he needs to maintain energy and his size.
  6. You can be charged for DUI for a BAC under .08. The .08 BAC is just a per se number. You typically won't see someone charged with it unless they are a lightweight and are that impaired or maybe have some narcorics on board with it.
  7. Spent the night dealing with drunks and heroin junkies.
  8. It's five counties because that makes up the 24th judicial district. The DA is the DA for the five counties/24th judicial district. It's being resolved but the DA started off wrong and probably made some enemies. I would want the TBI involved in a murder investigation I have met a few TBI agents during my time and they were great investigators.
  9. Word on the street is the DA is responsible for this. The TBI can't investigate local crimes unless requested and if the DA boots them they just attend to their own matters in that area. But I'm sure the DA was put in his place and that is why the special prosecutor was requested.
  10. He probably just threw that rig on to go in the store. I've noticed several times that people seem to want to OC in a gun store. I think that knee brace is where he attaches his shotgun scabbard.
  11.  I do like it when people change it to sold so I can just overlook it. But what gets me and really isn't a big deal is not doing the feedback after an transaction.
  12. You won't counties and municipalities have the authority to ban shooting firearms by ordinance. Luckily my city does not ban it and I laugh when people get their undies in a twist when they complain about someone shooting safely and legally.
  13.  Cousin Eddie is the best.
  14.  I've never had a problem with video cameras. I've had several over the years in my cars and they have cleared me of BS complaints every time and also been handy as evidence. But now I don't have one and actually miss it with the crap growing and many people lately are playing the race card right off the bat on a traffic stop and it's getting old quick. I like the idea of body cameras and I'm planning on buying one but there are just a few things that I worry about. The first is the federal government has no business in this issue, this is between the agencies, staff, and governement body. Second is the durability of the cameras, how much abuse can they take? Can it hold up to fighting a crazy drunk or a guy coked out or on synthetics? The cameras in the cars avoid the physical contact but only show things in the view of the car.    I've been reading several article and research papers by people to include the ACLU about body cameras recently due to preparing to buy one. The current thing is they all cry we must wear them but the same time they say we shouldn't record other people with them stating people have expectation of privacy. Yes you do generally in a non public setting but how do keep video of victims recorded on these from being released under the FOIA? I'm all for the FOIA and hey you wan't my paperwork or video have at it but would you want the face of a rape victim or the video of dead people from a crash to be avaliable for all to see? Just a thought and it seems like there is no gray area either all or non of it. Film me all you want while I'm working but don't blame me when your camera breaks from my ugly mug.
  15. We would have to buy new targets and make the knee a bullseye. I'd rather have the wasted money spent on that allowing us to get more range time and ammo. Twice a year don't cut it. You want anymore practice go buy your own ammo and pay for a private range.
  16. Is it possible a website won't allow a person because of ad blocking software? I could see websites blocking people with that software due to getting paid by advertisors. Don't know but have wondered this since I first heard about ad blockers.
  17. You are fine carrying here open or concealed.
  18.  Anybody else getting these annoying bugs? I have a maple tree near my parking pad and garage and apparantly these bugs love crawling all over my vehicles. Anybody know of a good way to get rid of them? I searched online and all I could find was a dishwashing soap/water mixture. Also has anyone had any luck with spraying the tree down maybe to get rid of them there also?
  19.  I typically take the regular Allegra daily. If I start feeling like I'm actually getting sick I'll take the Allegra D for a few days and I'm good unless I just get stomped by it and get a sinus infection then I go get some antibotics along with it. The daily Allegra seems to help and I can tell if I haven't taken it for a few days.
  20.  Even if a juvenile is tried as an adult they can't be given the death penalty. The most he could get is life in prison.
  21. If it the same thing that has happened in the past they are interrupting the dish signal then using stolen cards to make purchases.
  22. Maybe I got all confused but doesn't she have to live within 60 miles of cool springs? Unless the feds have redone the length of a mile I don't think Ooltewah will make that radius.
  23.  Heroin is going through the roof. I remember around the beginning of this year I got heroin 2 or 3 times in one day. I hadn't seen heroin in several years and now it's back daily. All the opiate addicts are going to it because it is cheaper but it is causing overdoses quicker.
  24.  Hydrocodone is already a schedule II in TN. It was changed from a schedule III almost two years ago. Your current script with refills shouldn't be affected. According to the new policy change as along as your prescription was issued before 10/06/2014 with refills you can get your refills as long as they are dispensed before 04/08/2015. Here is a link to it.  http://www.deadiversion.usdoj.gov/fed_regs/rules/2014/fr0822.htm    Also your doctor can write you multiple presciptions to give you a 90 day supply total and even call it in without a personal visit. So people who may have a legitimate medical condition who need them won't be screwed out of them.
  25. If you have your cards Goodlettsville PD does finger prints. Call 615-851-3745 to make an appointment and find out the fee.
