 I figured they were going to charge somebody. I'll be interested to see the trial and the evidence along with the actual wording of the statutes they charged the officers with. I'm inclined to believe they overcharged but until the evidence is released who knows. But I tell you this with three of the officers being black the race baiters can go suck on an egg.

 I could imagine the words mumbled when they rolled up and saw it lol. That's a big son of gun.

Unfortunately it is public record. But most news stations have scanners and monitor the calls and response then send camera crews. I know the night guys in the nashville area are always roving around with their cameras to anything they hear on the radio to see if they can use it.

I agree. I carry a regular rifle and have no need for more than semiautomatic. I would love some personal toys with shorter barrels and that shoot many rounds in a single trigger pull but have no need for it at work.

I could get behind that with the only possible exception I can think of is shotgun barrel length. Try snatching a 18.5" barreled 870 out of a rack inside a vehicle. The 14" or 16" barrel helps. But I don't say we have to have it but dang it can get snagged up in a pinch. I say do away with the NFA. Just because a a gun shoots more than one bullet in a squeeze of the trigger or has a shorter barrel doesn't make it any deadlier.

Lol yep. I figured there would be a EBR & AK cleaning party on my front porch when the time comes atleast that is what a few of us joked about. I think me and the young lad will have a heart to heart conversation to understand each other. But that is long off now is just the many feedings and diapers. I'm still not used to diapers, I can work a meth lab like a champ but look like an idiot fooling with a diaper. I also get to not shave for 7 or 8 weeks. I've never been able to do that. My wife alrwady hates it!

Well my first child came a few days ago. It has definately been an experience. I can't wait until she is big enough to go shooting. I'm also dredding the future with dating.

This has already been in effect here. He extended the stop to perform an exterior free air sniff without reasonable suspicion. Had he done it while a license and warrant check was being performed his case would have been upheld. I don't think an exterior sniff of the vehicle during a stop or in a public place without a warrant will be changed anytime soon. I could see having to secure a warrant being implemented over ruling the carroll doctrine before the K-9 requiring a warrant.

 I find it funny people think if they turn on their hazard lights it provides them a cloak of invisibility or exempts them from parking laws.

I have a Cub Cadet 54" rzt for my acre. No real complaints except hard to find a striper for it.

I've noticed lately on my Ipad that avatars will show up crazy places after a few times without cleaing history & cache. Once its cleared seems to be fine. Maybe that's what happened.

I tried understanding the layout, events, and fees but I feel lost. So if you just want to go look around the booths and vendors it's free right? Even if your aren't an NRA member? But if you go to certain events or the concert you must pay? ISome of the seminars seem like good topics but I'm mainlywanting to just go look at the stuff see what is there.

 What about a hybrid car group? Get them a clubhouse out in east nasty have them all lined out front like motorcycles. That would be hilarious. I could care less what vehicle anybody drives if it works for them great but I don't understand is buying these used ragged police cars putting wheels worth more than the car on them. Then there are the groups of crown vics and impalas that get them covered in logos. They are spending big bucks on all sorts of crap in them. One guy had like a 40" flatscreen installed in his trunk lid so he could open it and watch movies if he was parked.

I have had the pleasure of introducing myself to a few of them once or twice. If I remember correctly one was a TDOC prison guard in uniform when I arrested him.

I could see insurance companies refusing coverage for not wearing a helmet regardless of fault. I personally don't care if they do away with the helmet law but I've seen aftermath of not wearing the proper helmet resulting in open skulls and brains on the roadway.

Someone just following another vehicle on a public road isn't threatening but is alarming. Avoid going home and avoid dead end streets. Make turns through streets that typically aren't used for through traffic and you will know if someone is following you. Call 911 you wouldn't be the first person to do this. Give updated locations along with your flashers on. The sight of a police car behind them will probably be enough to get them to alter their travels. If that doesn't work when the officer observes a traffic infraction they could conduct a stop giving you time to beat feet. If the same person followed you home and entered your driveway I would still hesitate to draw but if you were open carrying they might bug out. If you get a tag number and description have it entered into a cad entry at the police department. Ongoing cases could constitute harassment and or stalking.

Determine a family price for the big house and offer it to the first one that will buy it. They still get a good deal but won't seem like favoritism even though it would seem the son with kids needs it rather then unmarried daughters with no children.
