A misdemeanor ticket it's a civil offense so a fine. Do you live in the urban services district or general services? Odds are you live in the general services district unless you rich or in the ghetto.

I watched it last night. It is a 2 hour documentary about the supposed local group trying to rid the area of the Templar cartel members but some of the group are members of a different cartel. It's a whole mess but was interesting to see how they handled business with some of their criminals.

I don't mind the serpa but it can be picky anything gets in the release it runs bad or if you have any pull on the gull or pressure in a certain direction it can bind. The ALS holsters are good I use one as a duty holster and the thumb release is natural feeling to me. I have some knock down fights and rolling around with it and never worry about the gun coming out.

People use to steal the tanks to fill with another gas used to cook meth but it wasn't rated the same and would either explode or leak rapidly in their face causing death. Seemed like a self correcting issue.

If some dirtbag can steal it they will.

What attempt to educate anyone was in that video? I saw two tactical operator clowns hoping to get messed with so they would get some video footage.

I wish they would limit the sirens to actual spotted tornados vs a warning in your county. It freaks people out and I keep waiting for a bright flash of light.

Rethinking HCP carry after San Bernadino
Pain103 replied to jgradyc's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Shooting at varying distances is great but realistically if you're in a location with long hallways like several hundred feet they will probably be cluttered with people running so popping off rounds may not be an option rather than going cover to cover or just advancing toward the threat. I have been in an active shooter/killer school this week and it was weird that right before San Bernadino happened we were training for breaching locked/chained doors and suspects with bombs. Also something to mention and I know it is always a concern but with this type of situation the way officers were trained to rush in and neutralize the threat is with HCP holders and off duty LEO is being distinguished by the incoming officers as not a threat. I don't know the solution but be prepared to drop down and disarm very quickly so no good guys take a round. I would hate to send lead down to someone is who isn't deserving. Also the only the thing I changed up with carrying was just ensuring an extra mag. I carry my Glock 27 using a 23 mag and carry a 22 mag as my spare along with a smaller pocket clip led flashlight. I think between 29 rounds I can either defend myself, get somewhere safely, or the cavalry has arrived. -
I don't get the statue issue but what is worse than that is the city voted on moving his remains? I could only think of maybe one or two reasons why buried remains should be disturbed that is just disrespectful.

How to thank an officer for going far beyond the C.O.D.?
Pain103 replied to Randall53's topic in General Chat
Don't do the gift card as mentioned above. But the thank you letter addressed to the head honcho mentioning the officer means a good deal. I have received a few myself from random people and other departments after helping them on cases and it usually gets forwarded to me and a note that says good job this will be placed in your file. I figure it can't hurt to pad it some with good things in this climate we work in. -
Did you contact the federal courthouse or a local jurisdiction?
-
PM me the names and I'll look up their charges on the jail site or clerks website. You can do it yourself its all public record.

Goodluck. I have a fat groundhog that has been going through my yard. He is about to be introducted to high speed lead poisoning.

Yikes 3 times a week bath for a dog equals no oils.
-
He would need to contact Metro property section about his property. If it was only recovered from being stolen versus taken as evidence and the charge is pending should't be that hard. The victims advocate person works for the courts so they don't have jack to do with it. More or less those positions created to give victims somebody to talk to without hassling the district attorney and it makes the DA's office seem like they care.

Thinking about moving from .40 to 9mm ...
Pain103 replied to Peace's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I know a few guys that recently swapped to 9mm for their off duty guns just due to ammo prices. I don't see a problem with 9mm I just like using my G22 mags in my 23 or 27 and putting duty ammo in all three. -
Dutch Shepherds aren't bad breeds but they are a little spazy. I knew several guys that had one as a K-9 they did great but they had more of an attitude and didn't like down time. But with any high drive dog you have to exercise them and show attention.

Burglary at Guns and Leather (Hendersonville)
Pain103 replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in General Chat
I'm sure it is Nashville thugs crossing the line to get a quick score. Hopefully they will introduced to the Sumner County court system soon and enjoy their stay at TDOC. -
They hire off duty cops in case they have to deal with traffic for insurance and law that they can't direct traffic.

Congrats

Periodic Physical Fitness Standards for Police & Firefighters
Pain103 replied to btq96r's topic in General Chat
Sorry it isn't in a GO as just ordered so I'm no help. Also I probably wouldn't bother with officer.com about asking for information for a school paper or project they tend to have an unwritten rule among the users not to help. Bad past experiences. -
Periodic Physical Fitness Standards for Police & Firefighters
Pain103 replied to btq96r's topic in General Chat
I know we have to do our yearly deal involving a run, spint, pushups, and situps. Don't think it set out in policy as much as the man says it is so. I'll do some checking tomorrow when I get back on my departmental computer to see if it that is in a genral order or just a general order about fitness for duty. -
I'm not saying it did or didn't happen but taking what attorneys put in divorce paperwork to make their clients looks good as fact is like taking a politician for face value.
