  1. It's a Mossberg 715T. It's a .22 that looks like an AR but takes proprietary mags. The mags look like Ar mags on the bottom but thin .22 mags on top.
  2. Homeschooling has a resource now they didn't have 15 years ago. It's the internet. There are a ton of resources for helping kids learn material that might be beyond the grasp of the parents. Some courses are full online courses and the parents only have to supervise and make sure they are doing the work.
  3. Man that is awesome. I love seeing people take hold of their health and succeed.
  4. I went through calculus in high school. The furtherest I think most over achieving high schoolers( at least in my town) went through clac 2. But none through 3D clac or differential equations. I honestly think my wife and I solution will have to be private school. She will be the bread winner and I'm not sure I have the patience for early elementary education. Upper levels I could deal with, but still it's not exactly my forte. I will do everything in my power to afford this option. For many it's an unachievable goal simply do to finances.
  5. I don't know if you do Facebook, but that's how Whittakers announces their good deals. If you're quick you can get some good stuff.
  6. Well I assumed it would be gone within a short time. Posted more for the price reference.
  7. Whittaker's just posted one for sale for $1589. That's a really good deal
  8. Wanna talk about bullying, be the kid who's mom complained. That kid will get bullied. This is stupid, if you can't handle losing don't play. The winning team ran the ball every play in the 4th quarter. Those kids were backups and most if them hadn't scored before. And that's not counting the defensive touchdowns You can't ask kids to stop playing. What did she want the winning team to just take a knee 3 times and punt. Quit teaching your kids to be pussies and they'll be less pussies in the world
  9. http://www.wbir.com/story/news/local/hamblen-jefferson-cocke-greene/2013/10/25/baby-messiah-judge-cited/3185849/ This was the right thing. The judge acted outside the law and according to her own beliefs. I'm a Christian and I think she was ridiculous in her ruling.
  10. Sounds right. You will need an upper vise block, and possibly a lower vise block (I used an old steel magazine) I'd stick with 556 if it's your first AR. The 2 ton vise will be just fine. Only need 40-50lbs torque on barrel nut (assuming gas tub hole lines up) Magazines are pretty plentiful right now. I like ordering from Joeboboutfitters.com you can get your LPK, Upper parts, and mags. Over $90 and it's free shipping. I'd get 5 a Magpul mags, if not you'll wish you had more
  11. http://www.wbir.com/story/news/local/maryville-blount/2013/10/23/dispatch-shots-fired-during-alcoa-jewelry-store-robbery/3172861/?sf18700226=1 He is apparently wheelchair bound and shot one of the thieves in the stomach
  12. I have zero desire to carry a log gun in public. That would be a true pain in the ass. However, I don't think it should be illegal either. Too bad we can't trust our own to exercise good judgment. If this law were overturned every retard in the state would run to Walmart or Starbucks with their loaded AR that they barely know how to shoot.
  13. What suppressor are you getting?
  14. If you're looking to donate that S&B to charity....I'm accepting donations :D. Seriously though that's a sweet setup
  15. Just updated. Not sure any of the fixes are things I had issues with but gotta keep up to date
  16.   Is that National Forest or private?  Private land you have to get an exemption from Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) to hunt Hogs.  most public land is no hog hunting.     With that said there arent many hogs that I know of in that part of the state.  They are there, but I dont know how many.  Most of the hogs are in the north central plateau and middle TN
  17. Yep, Crossville has 3x the ammo at Walmart that any Knoxville store has
  18. 16" Noveske N4 IN STOCK. Y'all wrong handed people get some of that.
  19. Just looks like one of those Grizzly side charging uppers. Just uses a handle attached to the bolt instead of a charbing handle
  20. Walmart in Crossville had 6-9 boxes of both. American Eagle brand.
  21. Ok so it seems to retail for almost $300. Seem to be going for $250-280 around Knoxville for the SD version. I'd say $200 is more than fair Climbing stands are great for getting elevated on land you don't own or aren't familiar with. If you have a hunting lease or own property I would much rather have two fixed stands over a climber.
  22. I'd say it retails for $250. If he's only used it one season that's not bad. I'd always check craigslist to see if comparable stands for sale
  23. I have the Summit Viper SS. Awesome climbing stand. The deal is made or broken on the price.
  24. Never seen it before today. It's called an "ammo can" but it's just 120rds in a plastic box
  25. If you want a 16", Ranier had some in stock yesterday. Pistol length gas and all!
