Neurology is an extremely difficult field. It takes a special person to go to med school and an even more special to do Neuro. With the days of big money passing away in medicine there isn't much incentive to spend the time and energy unless you just love neurology. It's 4 years MD 5 years residency. It's a lot of time and energy. Plus it's a tough field emotionally cause you see some really bad diagnoses
Oh your post reads so much like our home, just change Dad to mom, and its the same here including the Ninjago. We have boys ages 9, 8, 4, and 1. What took hours to assemble, only took 10 min to unwrap and enjoy. We did start something new last year, instead of the shotgun blast approach to opening packages, we draw names to who opens packages 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. This way we can see the excitement of each child and each present. Merry Christmas to all!
That's the we my family always has fine Christmas. We just had dad pass out the gifts and everyone watches each individual open their gift. It can be tough for young hyperactive types like I was but it slows the chaos a bit and helps make the day more memorable I think.

Lumber_Jack replied to a topic in Ammunition and Reloading
Yep, same stuff I've seen in the past. With tax $1.01 per round. About par for off-the-shelf 300BLK -
So do you consider the JP low mass BCG a gimmick too?

TGO build opinion needed regarding length of forearm
Lumber_Jack replied to Trekbike's topic in Show and Tell
I have a RRA mid length gas with a rifle length free float YHM forearm. It looks really nice, however it's heavy. Maybe the newer YHM rails are lighter I don't know. But you might consider a forearm with les weight. Maybe a MI Gen 2 or similar. But as to the original question: my rail would definitely completely cover the gas block -

not too far off. It said Lexington and I was raised in WV about 3 hours from there. I did have to ammend some of my answers to answers similar to my home town. Many have changed since ive lived father south, such as "Coke" vs "pop"

So let me ask this. If primary lead consumers could use recycled lead why were they not doing so prior to now?

Great looking piece. I want one just like it in the 938 version. I really like the scorpion packages. I know FDE is way overplayed recently but every time I see a Sig finished that way I have to hide my wallet.

Amen. We could debate theology till Jesus comes back (or doesnt depending on your beliefs) :) if we could limit the hyper-sensitivity to a minimal level we would all benefit
Here is a quick question of no importance. On the CMT site, I notice that for the selector switch, their lowers have the bullet/crossed bullet engraved in the metal. On ours, we have the words "safe/fire". Just wondering how come this is. Not that I'm complaining. I prefer the words to the childish icons as I am both literate and not selling a big mac with fries. I'm just curious as to why the difference.
I think they have a "lowest price" contract with some distributors. So in order to not violate that agreement they had to change some things. Like grooves...and maybe selector markings.
use code 3rewards for free shipping, i just ordered one, good deal thanks for the heads up!! saved me 14.95
Saved a lot more than that with the total deal. I'll say again this is a great value. I wouldn't sell my used one for that.
Could someone please point out where in Corinthians it says homosexual? I've seen this verse mis quoted several times:Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
effeminate is translated from the Greek word Kinaidos meaning "men with a feminine love of being penetrated by men." Not trying to be vulgar just proving the translation isn't different. I affirm again that God calls it a sin just like when I cussed at the guy who cut me off today. This verse only has 2 conditions, no more. "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord , and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you shall be saved" Rom 10:9 NASB
Had a visit from a Kirby salesman several years ago. I never had any intention of buying it, but it was interesting to learn that the $1500 asking price dropped all the way to $700 by the end. A buddy that paid $1200 for his was pissed. When the hottie manager chick showed up to "close the deal" I told her that if I was gonna pay that much for something that sucks, it's darn sure gonna suck more than my carpet. :dirty: They packed up their stuff and left. Oh well... ;)
Yeah I think it's a really poor business plan. I could have sold 5:1 or better if the price was firm at $600 and each person would make more commission than selling one at full price. They hire a bunch of degenerate druggies too...oh, and me :)

I find it funny that the most "offensive" thing Phil said was a direct quote from the Bible. Let's Check the list sinners: idolaters, adulterers, drunks, slanderers, homosexuals, prostitutes, the greedy, swindlers Non-sinners: nobody Which of the above categories do each of us fit. I see at least 5 myself; that's without the prostitution. "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God"

I used to sell Kirby vacuums. It was the worst job ever. There are tricks to make your vacuum look better than others. I will say that the Kirby's will suck the mat right through the carpet. They do work but there is about $1200 markup on them. It's a pyramid type scheme to sell them (same for rainbow). For every $1500 vacuum that's sold the salesman gets $300, his manager gets $900 and he buys the vacuums from distributer for $300. None of them are worth the asking price. We used to offer them for sale for $1500 if the homeowner couldn't afford that we'd call the manager and pretend to talk him down. We sold them as cheap as $500-$600 to one house and full price hurt down the block. I was young and naive but still felt sleazy the whole time.
Seems to be right in the middle of possible wood hardness on the Janka scale. That said, it seems to be harder than any other North American wood that I've ever heard of: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Janka_hardness_test - OS
200 points harder than Hickory....so it's slightly less hard than concrete.

new 1911 grip set question
Lumber_Jack replied to jaxjohn419's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
They're ugly, but they look functional enough. It seems like they would have a lot of flex that would frustrate you when mounting a laser. If you're just looking for a light, I think the Crimson Trace Light Guard will fit a mil-spec: http://www.crimsontrace.com/products/manufacturer/1911-pistols/01-7100
Does it replace the slide stop? The picture appears to not have one. Edit: Not the crimson trace but the OP -
I'll jump in. I love the MEGA billet set. I'm thinking of trading my TGO upper and getting a mega. I'm gonna have my set Ceramic coated and it will cover the TGO logo anyhow.
