I'm not a Vandy fan so I never built any affection for him. I think he is a really good football coach. I do question his ethics in the rape case involving his players. Some say he obstructed justice by telling players to delete evidence from their phones. I don't know that he did to didn't but that has given me pause with him ever since.   Just like any ammo, the max powder charge the case can handle is usually not the most accurate.  If its "minute-of-bad guy" Id say thats all they were going for, that and as much velocity as possible 

For the record I carry FMJ in my LCP. WWB works just fine. I'll reserve judgement for when I see one in person. I can see it filling a niche but not a huge seller like a 9mm. I could see my mother or my wife shooting this better than an LCP because it's bound to have light recoil plus a full grip. Pumping it up to 9mm would be great for me but probably not for them as the recoil would increase. This is all theoretical of course. seems like he was splitting soft wood (red maple or similar) that was dry.  I wonder how some harder wood splits

Yeah it's hard to imagine how this happened. It's sad but one of the parties broke a basic firearms safety rule. Whether it's about the safety or finger on the trigger, but obviously it was pointed in an unsafe direction. One story said they were crossing a fence. That is a dangerous time in hunting. My father taught me to be extra cautious when crossing fences. Sad indeed as I'm sure the one has just killed his good friend. No way to cope with that.
