20/20 Special on kids and guns - 1/31 @ 10pm EST
Lumber_Jack replied to monkeylizard's topic in General Chat
I never touched a hot stove either. and not from experience, but because when I attempted to, I was correct by and adult. That's the main problem here, lack of education and discipline among children. There is a point where children are too young to understand and you cant rely on them to act accordingly but as they grow up its certainly can. My dad had all our guns in his closet, loaded or otherwise. I was taught to respect guns and if I was curious, just ask and I could see them. -
20/20 Special on kids and guns - 1/31 @ 10pm EST

I saw the preview. they basically leave a kid in a room with a hidden camera and an unsecured gun and are shocked that the kids pick them up and point them at their heads. Its no surprise to me. If you have small children, secure your guns...simple. There I just saved you and hour of your life -
The exemption allows you to kill hogs basically by "any means necessary" including bait, spot light, or any of the combo. They just want you to keep track of hogs killed and the method used.
Haven't watched them in years, but think I'll try a finger on the current pulse this time around. Plus, a number of performers for old fogies too, seems: Paul and Ringo, Carole King, Stevie Wonder, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, etc. - OS
I'm in just to see the last 3 on the list. Kris is supposed to be getting lifetime achievement, should be good. I do like Stevie too

FYI, most hunting leases, if initiated before the regs were changed, qualify for hog exemptions without limiting number of people. And it doesn't matter if you're new to the lease as long as the landowner leased it prior. And the landowner has to submit the request.

Patrick Stegal (Memphis) and Chip Cain(Nashville) are both forum sponsors. Both can do everything through mail and phone. -

Seems like with the E-file option, even if you have to get LEO signature and fingerprints, having a trust is a valuable asset. Saving 6 months wait for a $400 Trust....seems logical -
Anyone seen gasoline on top of tannerite. That's an impressive fire ball. Could do wonders to that nest.

I like the potential here. True modularity calibers. A 7.62x.39 to 556 with a barrel and bolt change, that's truly intriguing Of course the swap has to be easier than a traditional AR to make it appealing. Field change? Sent from my iPad using Voodoo magic

Another New AR Caliber Debuted At SHOT
Lumber_Jack replied to StPatrick's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
My question is what's the availability and variety of projectiles in that caliber? .458 has plenty, .308 (.300BLK) has plenty what niche does this fill? Sent from my iPad using Voodoo magic -
Very nice. What's the build specs? Everything spikes? Sent from my iPad using Voodoo magic

Lessons Learned West Virgina Chemcial Spill Jan 2014
Lumber_Jack replied to runco's topic in Survival and Preparedness
in this situation you would have to have access to uncontaminated water to filter. This chemical would not be cleared through a filter or boiling. So it makes me want to have clean water, on hand, and possibly filtration for a backup. -

Welcome. TGO is a truly special place. I also carry a G29, for the exact same reasons. Glad you found us, jump into the conversations and share your wisdom. And most if all thanks for your service!
I am waiting for a single stack 9MM from Glock!
You're not alone there. I'd say that line would be long.

Yeah money isn't the issue. Coaches have egos just like players. Coaches leave to win national titles. If Vandy could every manage win the SEC that would be step #1. Until that happens this is going to be déjà vu.
