Where do you buy your reloading supplies?
Lumber_Jack replied to enfield's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
Thanks for the info guys. I will stop on by and see David. Of those two gun shows, which one do you guys like best?
Expo center, by far. The tables are farther apart so there is more room to walk, and my sensitivities are not offended by those who have refused to bath in the last decade. -
Hi guys, I am new to the area (Knoxville) and wondering where to go to buy powder and primers? Any suggestions of local places in order to avoid hazmat? Thanks
Wait for the next gun show. The look for the large red "reloading supplies" sign. Behind the counter is a very tall man....his name is David, he's a member here. You will not find more supply at a lower price...period -
So I'm confused, don't you just have a pistol with a VFG? I know you are over 26" oral, but why does that not make it a SBR? Is it because of the brace?
It's because the ATF classifies it as a "firearm" if it's over 26" but does not have a stock. And the ATF has sent a letter that says "firearms" can have VFG So it's neither a pistol or rifle. It's a tweener
What makes these different, better, or special? I've heard nothing but good things but I don't know anything about them. I have to say, easily one of the ugliest guns I've laid eyes on. But at the same time there is something about it I like.
It takes standard AR15 mags, has a decent trigger, completely ambidextrous including case ejection. Gas piston is inside handgaurd area vs AUG at the vertical grip. Weight is more in the butt vs muzzle of AUG, which helps stability.

Larger Bore Suppressor for Multi-Caliber Use
Take note that I was told by YHM that they didn't recommend it for full power 10mm Auto loads. And by full power I mean the early 90's (and current Doubletap and Buffalo Bore) Atomic Annie loads that would hole battleships..
So you mean all the things that make 10mm great :) :stir: Sorry...carry on -
I carry a 29 daily and I also think the pinky extension makes a huge difference for the positive. It adds a level of control and sure grip when speed draw especially under concealment. I really don't link shooting it with the factory mag only. Maybe just a preference though. Hell obviously Glock thinks it perfectly reasonable or they wouldn't sell them without the extensions.

I'm just glad I don't bet. I would have lost a shit ton of money last night
What's the point of opening a gun store in a tourist area? Most of the tourist that visit PG and Gatlinburg are from out of state and can't buy firearms here. Unless, they are hoping to do a great mail home to local gunstore business. I would love it if a Bud's opened up there with the deals that have.
Anyone can buy rifles. Cash and carry. With background check of course. J Floyd's Golf and Guns has operated just down the road for years.

Glad you got it fixed. Reinstalling is usually then only way to truly fix Tapatalk glitches. I have noticed thought that I can't post in the classified section be cause Tapatalk doesn't allow you to chose the banner (for sale, for trade, etc) which the forum requires for posting. So I've learned to go to the mobile site for that.

To quote Kevin Costner "some things naw at a man worse than dyin". Wearing body armor in a daily basis has to be up there. You ever think....well it's my time to go. You could live in the woods in a shack with no visible means of communication and I bet you won't get shot. Or you can carry on, be vigilant, carry a weapon and not take life so seriously.......Xanax might help too

Is there an echo in here? Gas airsoft is a great training aid. Especially for inexperience shooters. Plus you can use them in the garage or back yard of most homes. Down side....they aren't cheap. We bought one for my BIL paid about $200

Took an old rusty craftsman cabinet. Cleaned, brushed, and repainted. Then took the fiberboard top off and put half a sheet of birch plywood and legs to support the long end. Works nicely Sent from my iPad using Voodoo magic

DIY Nightvision for CHEAP!!!

What is producing the crosshairs in the stand alone zoom version? -
SO how does one submit an E-File?
Lumber_Jack replied to whitewolf001's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
I think "individual" may have been misinterpreted in Dolomites post. "Individual" meaning someone without a trust, corp, or entity. -
That's not true you can E-file as an individual. We have an employee that did a form 1 himself and has already gotten approval. -Daniel
How did he upload fingerprints and photos? As I understand it the system can't do that currently. -
KeyMod AR Rails - Love em or Hate em
Lumber_Jack replied to DangerDanJD's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
I really like the idea. I have a Midwest Industries Gen 1 and it has holes for extra rail sections, but with the short barrel and kx3 plugging the end I can't get inside the rail to hold the inner screws. So I have to partially disassemble the rail to add sections. The key mod soles that. I like them. -
Mike at Law Enforcement Sales told me he can do it. His website lists Oak Ridge but he is on the south west side. You could be at his shop in the same drive as going to Knoxville proper.

Phases plague those of us who can't afford all options Sure it's a phase, as most gun urges. I usually research it to death and then try to put it aside for a bit and let it simmer. Then if it lingers I'll swap or buy. Guns is a unique hobby where the items retain all or most of their value for a long time. Sent from my iPad using Voodoo magic

I think I would have to beat my dogs to death if I were to use that.

even with a beard that large, just a small amount the size of a nickel or less would be plenty for your entire beard. like aftershave, just rub hands together and work into beard. It will appear shiny at first, but will go away in a few mins
